Why are cities like DeLand forcing residents to foot the multi-million dollar bill for cleanup while major polluters get off scot-free?
Water utilities and their associations should drop their alliance with these polluters, stop using rate hikes to pass the burden onto everyday customers who are already struggling, and instead demand that the federal government and the corporate polluters themselves pay to clean up the mess they created.
