Let’s catch up! I don’t even know where to begin. Y’all, it’s been a whirlwind!

Friday was a HUGE step for ERC. I had the chance to meet with the President and Vice Presidents of the American Association of Christian Counselors and collaborate. I’m so excited to see what God has next for us!

And even while I’m praising Jesus for this amazing opportunity, I’m being very careful to check my own heart. I don’t want to find myself wanting the approval of “man.”

Lesson: That’s NO ONE’S responsibility but my own!

As soon as that meeting was over, we ran over to EWomen Lynchburg. Y’all, there were over 5,000 women there! This was only my second time, but it was even more incredible than last year—and let me tell you why.

First, a lady I met right here last year has since come through the clinic. She has done a LOT of hard work and healing, and this weekend she came full circle to SERVE in the same place where she had been so broken.

Y’all… that right there. 😭🙌🏽

Then Ms. Kathleen… there are no words!

I met her last year when she won our gift basket. At the time, she had just found out she had an aggressive type of breast cancer. She told her doctors she was going to EWomen to get full of Jesus before they pumped her full of poison!

Well, she came back and found me, and she is CANCER FREE!!! She told me she took the blanket from that basket to chemo EVERY TIME!

Then she said, “Keisha, the doctors found a blood clot, so they say, but that ain’t nothing but the blood of Jesus!”

Y’all, that was Ms. Kathleen talking! In the middle of another concern, she was still giving Jesus praise! 🙌🏽

And if all of that wasn’t enough, look what happened next.

AACC invited me to speak onstage at EWomen to tell my story and share about Trauma Informed Care.

I was blown away and said, “Sure!”

Then they began preparing me and telling me all the things, and I found myself getting overwhelmed. Y’all, it was a LOT of information from some very important people, and in less than an hour, I was going to be speaking in front of 5,000 people!

Lean in and listen closely: THEY WERE DOING THEIR JOBS!

But on the inside, I was getting overwhelmed trying to take it all in. Finally, I had to stop and say out loud:

“Guys, I only know how to be Keisha. I can’t do what you’re wanting or I’m going to look like a fool. Can I just please be Keisha?”

The room stopped and got quiet.

You see, in that moment, God was giving me the power of choice. Was I going to conform, or was I going to be who HE created me to be?

I went backstage and texted Antoine, my team, and my speak-life circle:

“I AM KEISHA WRIGHT, a kind, patient woman of God. God has personally chosen me to live the impossible dream.”

See, God gave me that identity in the darkest time of my life. And 16 years later, standing on that stage, it was STILL TRUE!

I didn’t need to become someone else to walk into what God had for me. I needed to remember who HE said I was!

Today is REST. Tomorrow, back with AACC to do more work. Then we’re off to our LAST CLINIC OF THE YEAR!!!

And after everything that happened this weekend, I’m thinking about the women who will walk through those doors. Their stories. Their hurt. What God has waiting for them.

From a meeting room to a stage to a clinic… “Guiding Hurting People to Truth” is still why we do what we do. ❤️

Have you ever walked into a room and needed to give yourself permission to just be YOU?

Let me tell you what happened yesterday! 🙌🏽

WELLNESS walked into a PUBLIC SCHOOL!

Glen Cove Elementary said YES to wellness!

For three hours, teachers and education professionals leaned into “When the Hurt Walks Into the Classroom”—learning how to help hurting children find truth and examining how that hurt impacts everyone in the room.

The bell tells us when class begins. It cannot tell us what a child survived before arriving.

Children bring more than backpacks into our classrooms. Some carry grief, fear, rejection, and burdens they do not yet have words to explain.

What a child cannot put into words may still show up in the classroom.

We unpacked the Five Bottles, challenged assumptions, explored different perspectives, and practiced responding instead of reacting.

We asked:
“What am I feeling?”
“What am I assuming?”
“What do I actually know?”
“Am I trying to win this moment—or help this child move forward?”

Because our response becomes part of their lesson.

A correction can hold a child accountable and still protect their dignity. A calm voice can hold a firm boundary. And a quiet child may need just as much support as the child everyone hears.

A child should never have to earn dignity by having a good day.

But wellness also made room for the people standing at the front of the classroom.

Who cares for the caregiver? Who helps the teacher reset after a difficult moment? What are they carrying home when the school day ends?

The person helping everyone else needs somewhere to turn, too.

This professional development day had more impact than I could have imagined. I left grateful for educators willing to ask hard questions, examine their responses, and make room for wellness.

One response will not erase a child’s pain. It can help determine whether their next moment adds to it—or offers a way forward.

Thank you, Glen Cove Elementary, for saying YES to wellness and welcoming Emotional Recovery Clinic! 💙

Where is wellness? Let’s catch up!

Last week, I was in Dallas with the T.D. Jakes Foundation, participating in Good Soil. I have absolutely no words for how phenomenal this conference was. Bishop T.D. Jakes and his team poured themselves out, putting their best on the altar to serve so many people. And I had the privilege of a front-row seat.

Yesterday, my day started at 2:00 AM as I prepared to board a plane, leaving Dallas and heading to Virginia.

I left the heat of Dallas and landed in cold, wet, rainy Virginia. The moment I stepped outside, I felt the difference. Same clothes. Two completely different temperatures.

And in that moment, God spoke to my heart.

How often do we sit at the feet of greatness, receive fresh vision, and leave on fire for what God has called us to do? Great plans. Great ideas. A seed planted in good soil.

Then, within hours, the temperature changes.

Discouragement blows in. Overwhelm begins to pour. Before we’ve taken the first step, defeat tries to convince us that we can’t do what we were so sure about yesterday.

Standing there with the rain hitting my face and the wind blowing, I thought about how many times I’ve said, “I’m going to do something different. I’m going to make a change,” only to let discouragement cool my commitment.

God reminded me of His words about being hot, cold, or lukewarm and challenged me to examine what happens to my fire when my surroundings change.

The weather had changed. His assignment had not.

What happens to the seed planted in good soil when the atmosphere around us gets uncomfortable? Will we keep tending it? Will we take the next step while we’re still cold, tired, or overwhelmed?

I’m carrying those questions into a busy and exciting week.

Today, Emotional Recovery Clinic has the opportunity to bring wellness to Glen Cove Elementary through “When Hurt Walks Into the Classroom.” This is a brand-new opportunity, and I’m so excited to pour into the educators who pour into our children.

There is so much more we need to catch up on, and I can’t wait to share what’s unfolding!

But today, I want to leave you with this:

Don’t let a change in temperature change your commitment.

What did God plant in you that still needs your obedience even after the excitement wears off?

WHAT HAS WELLNESS COST YOU?

Everybody thinks walking in wellness means the absence of pain.

I wish I could scream from the mountaintops…

THAT IS NOT TRUE.

Wellness has cost me.

Obedience has cost me.

Following Jesus has cost me things I never thought I would have to lay down.

Sometimes obedience means putting your home on the altar.

Sometimes it’s your job.

Sometimes it’s rehoming a pet you love because the life God has called you to requires more travel than you ever imagined.

Sometimes it’s sitting in the boat while allowing other people to minister to your children because God has called you to minister to somebody else’s.

And sometimes it’s realizing that working for Jesus doesn’t always come with a paycheck.

Today is a hard day for me.

Not because I’m not well.

Because I AM well.

Wellness doesn’t mean I don’t grieve.

It doesn’t mean sacrifice doesn’t hurt.

It doesn’t mean I understand everything God is asking of me.

It means pain doesn’t get to make my decisions anymore.

Abraham walked Isaac up that mountain carrying both obedience and love.

The altar didn’t mean he loved Isaac less.

It meant he trusted God more.

And I’m learning that sometimes walking in wellness looks exactly like that.

Putting something on the altar that you desperately want to hold onto and saying:

“God, I trust You even here.”

I don’t know who needs this today, but please stop measuring your wellness by how much something hurts.

You can be WELL and still weep.
You can be WELL and still grieve.
You can be WELL and still have questions.
You can be WELL and still have to let go.

Wellness isn’t the absence of pain.

Sometimes wellness is having the strength to obey God while it hurts.

Today I’m reminding myself of the words I’ve said so many times:

OBEDIENCE BEFORE UNDERSTANDING.

And today those words cost a little more.

So I’m not asking you what you’ve overcome.

I’m asking something different:

What has your wellness cost you?

🌪️ NOW THAT I’VE SURVIVED THE STORM…

ERC Alumni Women — look where we’re going. ❤️

You already did the courageous work of the original clinic.

You unpacked the hurt.
You told the truth.
You confronted what wounded you.
You learned that trauma was an injury, not your identity.

But healing doesn’t end when you unpack the hurt.

What happens when you go home?

How do you live differently?
How do you protect your peace?
How do you recognize an old wound trying to show up in a new season?
How do you stop surviving and actually learn to WALK IN WELLNESS?

That is NOW THAT I’VE SURVIVED THE STORM — From Trauma to Triumph.

And I keep hearing something that still blows me away…

“The Storm is even more powerful than the original clinic.” 😳🔥

Maybe it’s because the first clinic teaches you how to unpack what happened to you.

The Storm teaches you how to LIVE after you’ve unpacked it.

And THIS is where we are going to do it. 🌅

Morning conversations overlooking the water.
Teaching together in the house.
Quiet moments by the lake.
Evenings around the fire.

Not running from another storm.

Learning how to live differently because we survived the last one.

🌪️ 2027 — WHO’S KICKING OFF THE YEAR WALKING IN WELLNESS?

You survived the storm.
Now let’s learn how to live on the other side of it. ❤️

Have you ever heard of a Holy Ghost hangover? 🙌🏽

If you’ve never experienced one, it’s when your soul is completely rejuvenated… but your body feels like it has been to war.

That’s exactly how I feel after finishing our LAST MEN’S EMOTIONAL RECOVERY CLINIC OF THE YEAR.

12 men walked in.

But it wasn’t just 12 lives that were impacted.

Those 12 men went home to wives, children, grandchildren, families, churches, workplaces and communities.

There are children and grandchildren who will experience something different because their fathers and grandfathers made a decision to become WELL.

There are 12 more men in this world who understand that leadership isn’t just providing.

It isn’t just protecting.

It isn’t being the loudest voice in the room.

Leadership is knowing how to WORSHIP.
Leadership is knowing how to surrender.
Leadership is having the courage to confront what wounded you so you stop transferring it to the people you love.

I never planned to teach men how to walk in wellness.

And truthfully, it has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done because… I’m not a guy. 😂

But watching a man give himself permission to go from WOUNDED → WELL may be one of the most rewarding things I will ever experience on this side of Heaven.

Once you see it, you cannot unsee it.

The walls come down.
The weight comes off.
The tears come.
The truth comes out.

And somewhere in that room, you realize…

This isn’t just about healing one man.
This is about changing a bloodline.

Today, I’m finally going HOME. 🏡❤️

Home for almost an entire week.

A week to rest.
A week to breathe.
A week to be with my family.
A week to let my body catch up with everything my soul has experienced.

And then…I’ll pack my bags one more time and head out for our LAST Emotional Recovery Clinic of 2026.

One final Women’s Clinic.

And there are only 2 spots left.

Two women.
Two stories.
Two opportunities to say:

“I refuse to carry what wounded me into another year.”

We finished our men’s clinics WELL.

Now it’s time to finish this year the same way.

Who are the final two women God is calling to go from WOUNDED to WELL? ❤️‍🩹➡️❤️

I can’t believe I’m saying this… our LAST Men’s Emotional Recovery Clinic of 2026 is this weekend.

And 12 men have been called away.

I can’t help but think about the significance of that number.

More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus called 12 men to leave what was familiar, follow Him, learn, grow, and ultimately impact the lives of others.

And this weekend, 12 men are saying YES.

They are laying down their schedules, responsibilities, pride, and distractions—and for a few days, they’re choosing to do the work.

To learn how to become well themselves.

To confront what has shaped them, heal what has hurt them, and learn how to lead from wellness instead of wounds.

To become better husbands, fathers, leaders, and men.

But here is the part that really stopped me:

Six of these 12 men are 35 years old or younger!!

When God gave me the scripture:

“See, I am doing a new thing!” — Isaiah 43:19

I don’t think I fully understood the power of what He was showing me.

A new generation of men is saying, “I want to be well.”

A new generation is learning that strength isn’t pretending you don’t hurt.

A new generation is choosing healing before their wounds get transferred to their marriages, their children, and the people they lead.

12 men. One weekend. Generations impacted.

God is doing a NEW thing. And I get a front-row seat to watch it happen. ❤️

And apparently, He isn’t finished…

😳 NOW THAT I’VE SURVIVED THE STORM — our January Alumni Intensive — only has a FEW spots remaining, and the house is BOOKED.

What you don’t allow to be transformed gets transferred.

2027 is already speaking: it’s time to walk in wellness.

As Emotional Recovery Clinic continues to expand, we recognize that coaches need HOPE too.

Those who pour into others are often carrying their own stories, responsibilities, disappointments, and emotional weight. Before we can effectively help others elevate, we must be willing to continue growing ourselves.

H.O.P.E. — Helping Other People Elevate is expanding to equip and develop coaches who are ready to grow personally and professionally. Through training, mentorship, practical emotional-wellness tools, and opportunities to develop their voice, coaches will learn how to serve others from a place of wellness not from their wounds.

We aren’t just training coaches to know more.
We are developing coaches who are healthy enough to lead, equipped enough to serve, and confident enough to help others walk toward wellness.

Because sometimes the person giving everyone else hope needs a place to receive it, too.

H.O.P.E. is expanding. And we’re making room for the people who help everyone else.

This is what wellness looks like. ❤️

Four days ago, women walked through these doors carrying things that some of them had carried for YEARS.

Hurt.
Disappointment.
Grief.
Questions.
Things they had learned to function with, smile through, pray through and keep moving through.

But functioning and being WELL are not the same thing.

This weekend wasn’t about pretending the pain never happened. It was about finally having a safe place to unpack it, understand it, tell the truth about it and decide what gets to go home with you.

I watched women have hard conversations.
I watched truth replace lies.
I watched tears fall.
I watched laughter return.
And I watched women realize…

What happened to me may be part of my story, but it does not have to become my identity.

This is why we do what we do at Emotional Recovery Clinic.

We are not just helping people survive what happened.

We are teaching them how to walk in wellness after it.

And as I look around this morning knowing we are almost at the end of our 2026 clinic season, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

God, thank You for every woman who said yes.
Thank You for every story entrusted to us.
And thank You that You are still healing broken hearts.

Truth Over Trauma.
Wellness is possible.

THIS is where 3 women will end 2026 differently than they started it. ❤️

There is ONE Women’s Emotional Recovery Clinic left this year.

And only 3 spots remain.

I keep thinking about those three women.

Who are you?

Maybe you’ve been carrying hurt you’ve never really unpacked.
Maybe disappointment changed you more than you want to admit.
Maybe you’ve learned how to function while hurting.
Maybe everyone thinks you’re okay because you’ve gotten really good at looking okay.

But something inside of you knows…

I don’t want to carry this into another year.

For four days, we’re going to step away from the noise and do the work.

We’re going to unpack the hurt, identify the lies pain taught you, tell the truth about what happened, and learn what it looks like to walk in wellness.

Jesus asked:

“Do you want to get well?” — John 5:6 NIV

There are 3 women who will answer that question at our final Women’s Clinic of 2026.

Will one of them be you?

Don’t just comment “I need this.”
Don’t wait until January and promise yourself this year will be different.

Register now.

Once these 3 spots are filled, our 2026 Women’s Clinics are officially closed.

❤️ ONE CLINIC. 3 WOMEN. 4 DAYS.
A chance to end 2026 walking in wellness.
