Let’s get creative together! Join us for The Epilepsy Weather Report, an art therapy workshop exploring the connection between epilepsy and weather🌦️

Just as the weather changes from day to day, so can our experiences with epilepsy. We’ll use art as a way to express ourselves, reflect, and connect with others in a supportive space. 💜

No artistic experience needed! Just bring:

The cost of medication shouldn't be a barrier to epilepsy care. If you're having trouble affording your anti-seizure medication, there may be programs that can help.

Epilepsy Alliance America has gathered medication cost assistance resources, including programs available through our member organizations, patient assistance programs, prescription discount resources, and other options that may help reduce medication costs.

The more information you have about your seizures, the more useful information you can share with your healthcare team.

Today's action: start - or update - a seizure record. Note what happened, how long it lasted, what you experienced before and after, and anything else that may help identify patterns over time.

Epilepsy is more than one kind of seizure.

In fact, seizures can look very different from one person to another. Some may involve convulsions, while others can cause staring, confusion, unusual movements, changes in sensation, or experiences that may not immediately be recognized as a seizure.

Throughout November, we along with Epilepsy Alliance America will share 30 days of actions for people living with epilepsy, families, caregivers, and communities. Some will take just a few minutes.
