SPRING SPORTS RECAP - GIRLS VARSITY LACROSSE

The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team finished with an 11-7 mark during the 2025-26 SCAC Empire League. The Lady Bucs lost their Section 3 semifinals match to eventual champions Fayetteville-Manlius.

2026 BUC BOOSTERS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Join us on Saturday October 3rd at Stone Creek Golf Club for the annual Buc Boosters Golf Tournament. Shotgun start is 12 noon and registration begins at 11am.

The $500 per team registration includes:
• 18 holes golf w/Tee Gift
• Ride-on carts
• Lunch & drink at the Turn
• Canale's Meatballs on the course
• On-Course games
• Skins Game
• Texas Roadhouse Challenge

SPRING SPORTS RECAP - VARSITY SOFTBALL

The Oswego Varsity Softball team finished the 2026 season with a 7-9 record. The Lady Bucs lost a hard fought Section 3 quarterfinal to West Genesee, 5-4, to end their season.

Student-athletes across Section III were recognized for their academic excellence this spring as part of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association's (NYSPHSAA) Spring 2026 Scholar-Athlete Program.

To qualify for the Scholar-Athlete team recognition, at least 75% of a team's roster must carry a 90.0 average or better.

The Oswego Varsity teams that accomplished this were:

Kayden Bryan-JV Softball

"Kayden has worked extremely hard in the off season, playing softball as much as she could.
She has learned the game situations and reminds her teammates of plays and situations during the games, as well as, practice.
She is a leader and is the master of being where she needs to be as a backup. She missed only 1 practice (due to a school event) the entire season!" - Coach Allen

Daylen Rose- Varsity Boys Outdoor Track
*Breaking the school record for Pentathlon & qualified for the NYSPHSAA Championship meet.

Miley Bevacqua-Varsity Girls Golf
*Miley shot a team low score of 57 at Oswego's golf match at Arrowhead Golf Club in East Syracuse, NY.

Giada Pezzlo-Varsity Girls Lacrosse
*Has led the team in goals for almost the whole season and is in the top 25 of Section 3.

Ashton Smith- Varsity Boys Tennis
* Highest win record on the team for boys tennis.

Aislyn Hilkert-Unified Basketball
*Aislyn Hilkert has been amazing with her assists to her teammates because of her stellar passing skills. The joy she has to play the game of basketball and to be on the court is contagious.

Taylor Geraci- Varsity Girls Lacrosse
*Leads the team in Draw controls and was top 2 for this in Section 3.

Kaelyn Bond- Varsity Softball
*Kaelyn exemplifies what it means to be an athlete. She gives her all 100% of the time and isn't just there for herself, but for the team.
She will do anything she can to help the team and continues to try to improve herself.

Desiree Lagoe- JV Softball
*Desi took on a brand new position this year- being our 1 and only catcher. She had to learn the game in a whole new way!
Desi is a great team leader and refuses to let small things get in her way. She missed only 1 or 2 practices this year and was ready to play each and every day!

Kiera Townsley- Unified Basketball
*Kiera Townsley has shown incredible growth this season both on offense and defense. She has attended every practice and game.
She shows great sportsmanship with her teammates and opponents.

Dakota Mylkes - Unified Bowling
*Dakota Mylkes has continued success with Unified Bowling and his team spirit and always cheering on others. - Coach Murray
