💕 Meet Sophie! 💕

At just 9 months old, Sophie is a sweet little guinea pig with a big personality packed into a tiny package. This adorable girl loves exploring her surroundings, chatting with happy squeaks, and keeping an eye on everything that's going on around her.

Sophie is happiest as the only piggy in the home or with a neighboring guinea pig friend she can admire from her own space. She's looking for a loving family who will shower her with fresh veggies, cozy hideaways, and all the attention a special girl like her deserves.

If you're ready to add some squeaks, smiles, and sweetness to your life, Sophie is waiting to meet you! 🥕🐹❤️

Meet this little cutie at the shelter during our public visiting hours, Tues-Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm (no appointment needed), complete a small animal adoption application on our website, or contact [email protected] for more info!

💜 It’s and Frannie is still waiting 💜

While Frannie is thriving in foster care, there's one thing she's still missing: a family to call her own.

This compact cutie is pure fun! Whether it's toys, games, walks, runs, or adventures, Frannie is always ready to jump in with enthusiasm. We think she'd absolutely shine in activities like agility or scent work that keep both her mind and body engaged.

But Frannie isn't just about action—once she trusts you, she's also a sweet, snuggly companion who loves being close to her people.

• Active, playful, and smart
• Loves toys, walks, and learning new things
• Sweet and affectionate couch companion
• Dog social, but likely happiest as the only dog in the home
• Not recommended for homes with cats
• Best suited for teens+ due to her exuberant play style
• 2 years old, 43 pounds, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped

Frannie can be cautious around new people and would do best in a quieter home without a lot of visitors coming and going. She needs a patient, confident person who will give her the time and support she needs to feel secure and blossom.

This adorable little girl has been waiting far too long for someone to see just how special she is. Could you be the person she's been hoping for? Or can you help by sharing her story so her perfect match can find her? 🐾❤️

To meet sweet Frannie, please complete a dog adoption application on our website, or contact our dog team at [email protected] or 920-424-2128 ext.108 for more info!

🐾 Local Businesses: We Need Your Help! 🐾

The countdown is on for our annual Walk for the Animals, held this year on Sept.12, and we need our community's support more than ever.

Like everyone else, we've felt the impact of rising costs. Food, medical care, supplies, and everyday expenses for the animals we serve continue to increase, making fundraising more critical than ever.

Our goal this year is to raise $70,000, and we can't do it without the support of local pet-loving businesses.

Every dollar raised through the Walk for the Animals helps support our Animal Medical Fund, ensuring that sick and injured pets receive the lifesaving care they need. Thanks to supporters like you, we help more than 3,200 pets each year through sheltering, medical treatment, adoption programs, and other vital services.

We're looking for businesses that share our passion for helping animals and want to make a meaningful impact in our community. Sponsorship opportunities are available at a variety of levels, providing valuable visibility while directly helping local pets in need.

Together, we can ensure that every animal who needs help receives the care, compassion, and second chance they deserve.

View sponsorship opportunities on our home page or contact us at [email protected] for more info ❤️🐾

Benjamin is now one of our longest-term residents 💔

Sweet handsome Ben dreams of something simple — a warm lap, a cozy bed, and a person to love him for the rest of his days.

Benjamin is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart. He’s gentle, easygoing, and always nearby to offer comfort and companionship.

• Sweetest, most loving personality
• Loves being by his people and being petted and purring
• Super handsome tuxie
• Loves being brushed
• 13 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped

Benjamin has diabetes, which is managed with liquid 1x/day medication called Senvelgo and a prescription diet, and he takes it all in stride like the calm, trusting boy he is.

Sadly, senior pets like Benjamin are so often overlooked. But we know there is someone out there with a soft spot for a sweet old soul who still has so much love left to give.

Meet Ben at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt.

Jolene would love to meet you 🩷

This adorable little girl is still very much a puppy, with all the curiosity, playfulness, and joy that comes with it.

She’s a happy-go-lucky sweetheart who loves adventures, learning new things, and spending time with the people she trusts.

Jolene can be a little bashful when meeting new people and prefers to take things at her own pace. But give her patience, kindness, and a little time, and you'll see her true personality shine.

Once she feels comfortable, Jolene blossoms into a playful, loving companion who will happily run, play, and fill your days with smiles.

🐾 Playful, affectionate, and adventurous
🐾 Great medium size — expected to stay under 60 pounds
🐾 Enjoys playing with calm, respectful dogs once she gets to know them
🐾 Looking for a quieter home where she can build confidence
🐾 Best suited for children 12+
🐾 Just under 1 year old (estimated), 40 pounds
🐾 Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped

Like any young dog, Jolene will thrive with a family committed to training, socialization, and plenty of exercise. In return, you'll gain a loyal best friend who will reward your patience with endless love and companionship.
