is a not-for-profit company that was started in 2009 by Greg Karch, founder and certified Angler Educator and Instructor. Signup here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090449afa622a5ff2-2023

Greg's passion for fishing and giving back to the community led him to create his unique seminars of ‘Fishing Basics’ , ‘Ice Fishing Basics' and 'Advanced Fishing Basics' which he provides to organizations all over Wisconsin free of charge. Learn 2 Fish With Us has educated over 80,000 anglers in Wisconsin alone since 2009 and has hosted over three hundred fishing clinics!!!! So if you are looking for a fishing clinic, contact us and enter all your information along with a date. Our Mission Statement is simple, ‘Grow the sport of fishing by educating and inspiring beginner and experienced anglers’. How will you learn more on fishing? Our fishing clinics can be customized for your group based on your requirements and amount of time for the event. Captain Greg will work with you group. In 2014, ‘Fishing Basics’ received two awards for the education and outreach of fishing and preventing the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species. The awards were presented by Wildlife Forever and the State Of Wisconsin. Why is our site named ‘Learn 2 Fish With Us’? Together through the partnership of our sponsors and our Angler Educators, ‘US’, we are here to help educate and inspire new and experienced anglers to fishing. Our website, page and seminars teach youth, families and fisherman about safety, equipment, how to use the equipment, techniques, tips, bait and more for open water fishing and ice fishing. So, if you are a beginner or have been fishing for a while, we intend to have information for you!!!

One of my favorite presentations to talk about is fishing plastics, especially during the spring and fall! Did you know that how you rig your plastic on the jig makes a BIG difference in how it swims and performs in the water? 🐟

Taking the time to rig your plastic straight and correctly can make all the difference in getting more bites!

Stay tuned for more fishing tips from Captain Greg to help you catch more fish! 🎣👍

🎣 Sponsor Spotlight: Lake Poygan Sportsmen's Club – Walleye Sponsor! 🎣

Today, we would like to recognize and thank the Lake Poygan Sportsmen’s Club for being a valued Walleye Sponsor of Learn 2 Fish With Us!

The club has been an integral part of supporting our mission over the years. 🎣 Getting Ready for the 2027 Fishing Programs! 🎣

Yesterday, our incredible Learn 2 Fish With Us volunteers were busy rigging and refurbishing fishing combos for our 2027 Fishing Programs. Together, they rigged and refurbished over 300 fishing combos!

The refurbished equipment was lubricated, tested, and given fresh line on the reels to make sure everything is ready for the next generation of anglers.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped and to those who donated gently used fishing equipment. Your generosity and hard work make a difference!

The youth are going to be so excited to receive their fishing equipment! We can't wait to get them out fishing and help grow the sport through education and inspiration. 🎣
