It was a great night last night at New Smyrna Lodge #149 F. & A. M. for the Fellowcraft degree. Our Brother Manny Castro has been passed to the degree of Fellowcraft and our Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Florida Grand Master Haskell R. Vest Jr. presented our secretary R∴W∴ Howard Chase with his 50 year service pin! We truly appreciate the Brothers of #149 for putting on an amazing degree!

Today, we honor the trailblazing spirit of BG Buzz Aldrin on the anniversary of his groundbreaking lunar landing! 🚀 As we reflect on his remarkable achievement, let's also celebrate the values of unity and cooperation that have always propelled humanity forward - values embodied by his membership in multiple Masonic lodges and symbolized by the flag he took to the Moon. 🕊️.

It had the inscription "The"Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, USA." This now resides in the archives of the House of the Temple in Washington, D.C.[206] Aldrin is also a member of York Rite and Arabia Shrine Temple of Houston.
