At Novel Tea Book Shop, every story shared and every cup poured connects back to The Creative Chapter, our nonprofit dedicated to nurturing arts and literacy right here in Ormond Beach. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to offer meaningful, accessible programs for all ages — and we’re just getting started.

How it works:
Each day, use our Sketchtober 2025 calendar for the daily themes for you to explore and create.

What’s at Stake?
One lucky artist will win a month-long exhibit on our gallery walls and receive social media recognition.

A heartfelt thank you to The Ruffwood Foundation

Because of their generous support this year, The Creative Chapter has been able to continue offering our teen book clubs, writing groups, creative classes, and so much more.

To honor their impact, created a custom tea blend named “The Ruffwood Blend”, a calming and inspiring herbal mix of nettles, lemon balm, sage, peppermint, lavender, and cinnamon. Just like their gift, it’s made to spark creativity and healing in every cup.

We are honored to present The Ruffwood Foundation with a personalized plaque and a batch of their own signature blend as a small token of our gratitude.

The Creative Club is Meeting WEEKLY! -

Join us for our next Creative Club tomorrow night from 5:30p-7:30p! You won’t want to miss making these adorable pressed flower ring dish! $15 covers your cost of materials. The cafe and shop will be open for yummy treats and sweet drinks too!

Thank you to everyone who donated art supplies for our back to school drive! Bryce Hammond with stopped by to pick up the first round of goodies for local art teachers! That’s right…we’re keeping this going! Drop off a bag of supplies to Novel Tea Book Shop, and get a free hot or iced tea on us!! Right now there is a big need for drawing pens/pencils, gummy erasers, sketch books, and composition notebooks! You can also donate financially to The Creative Chapter and earmark it for the Art supply drive, and we will take care of the shopping for you!

We’re collecting brand new art and craft supplies for Volusia County art teachers—and we need your help!

🗓️ Special Giveaway:
Bring in donations during Ormond Art Walk this Saturday from 3 PM–7 PM and receive a free cup of hot or iced tea as our thank-you (excludes lattes and tea breezes).

🖌️ All supplies will go directly to local VCS art classrooms to help students create, imagine, and thrive.
