We reuse donated backpacks from schools as vehicles of hope filled with basics to survive the brutal Florida weather. CARE of Central Florida is a tax exempt nonprofit community based organization founded on the belief that by working together we can change the world into a better place. e work, where we live, and where our families gather. We can help transform our local communities into beacons of compassion and kindness for the whole world to see. CARE of Central Florida will be working with local companies to help develop corporate donation programs, strategic sponsorships, local fundraisers, and volunteering opportunities. We will also be discussing our annual CARE KIT Donation Drive. If you have any old backpacks please save them. We would love to get them before they are lost to the garage, closet, or trash can. Our team will be re-purposing the old backpacks into survival kits for the homeless. These kits will be filled with socks, toiletries, snacks, letters of encouragement, and much more.

  • We always need help with our CARE KIT Backpack Donation Drive. Our team re-purposes old backpacks into survival kits for the homeless. These kits are filled with socks, toiletries, snacks, letters of encouragement, and much more.

  • We also need help on our CARE 5K Race Team. This is a fun and unique way to educate people about our mission while supporting other local nonprofits and events.
