Getting to cancer treatment should never be another burden for patients and families.

Through the generosity of Petals of Hope Foundation, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Delta Omicron Omega Chapter, support from this year’s Taste the Hope event will help provide travel assistance for patients receiving care at AdventHealth Cancer Institute.

Their continued giving helps ease transportation challenges so patients can focus on what matters most: their care and healing. We’re grateful for this meaningful partnership and the hope it brings to patients and families across our community. 💙

A milestone worth celebrating. 💙

AdventHealth for Children recently welcomed the inaugural class of its Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program, marking an exciting new chapter in neonatal education, physician training and compassionate care for our tiniest patients.

Made possible through the generosity of philanthropic supporters, the fellowship was officially named the Rajan Wadhawan, MD Neonatal Fellowship Program, honoring Dr. Raj Wadhawan’s extraordinary contributions to neonatal care, medical education and the next generation of neonatologists.

We are deeply grateful to the physicians, donors and community leaders whose dedication helped bring this vision to life. Together, we are investing in the future of neonatal care and helping more children and families experience the promise of whole-person care.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and participating Chick-fil-A restaurants across Greater Orlando, this year’s Cookies and Care for Kids campaign helped support pediatric patients with complex medical needs at AdventHealth for Children.

Every cookie purchased helped create meaningful moments of joy and support for children and families, including through our Christmas Blessings celebration.

We’re grateful to Chick-fil-A and everyone who joined in helping make those moments possible, one cookie at a time.

For Cyrus and his family, that support came from the AdventHealth for Children team who saw more than his leukemia. They saw the little boy his family loved.

Whole-person care meant supporting his treatment, making room for childhood and walking alongside his family through it all.

A summer can shape a future.

This summer, 60 Lake County high school students stepped into hospital life through AdventHealth Waterman’s Teen Summer Volunteer Program, serving patients and discovering more about where their own paths might lead.

For some, it confirmed a future in health care. For others, it simply meant growing confidence, finding purpose and learning the power of showing up for someone else.

Nine weeks. 60 students. A lot of possibilities.

A ride to an appointment. A nutritious meal. A friendly call to check in.
For Ofelia Mendoza, those simple connections helped make the transition home feel a little easier.

Through a partnership with Senior Resource Alliance and Renacer Foundation, AdventHealth is helping older adults access resources that support independence, connection and continued healing at home.

It’s a powerful example of what can happen when health care and local organizations come together to care for the whole person.
