Margaret’s journey is a reminder that healing can take shape in unexpected ways. As a professional artist living with Parkinson’s, she has found joy, focus and peace in creating. Her advice to others is simple. Begin where you are, let go of perfection and see what art can open up for you.

Margaret also serves as the chair of the Neuroscience Institute philanthropy council and is a valued partner in our fundraising efforts. We are grateful for her leadership in advancing this important work. Under the glow of a special prom night, AdventHealth for Children patients stepped into an evening made just for them. For children who cannot attend a traditional prom, this celebration brought joy, confidence, and lasting memories with the people who love them most. From red carpet moments to meaningful keepsakes, every detail was designed to help each child feel seen, celebrated, and cared for.

This night was made possible by the generosity of our donors, whose support helps create moments of comfort, normalcy, and hope for families when they need it most.

At our recent reception, Brain Health and The Science of What’s Next, we brought together leaders in neuroscience for an evening of insight, discovery and meaningful conversation about what the future of brain health can mean for our community.

A night out in Orlando can help bring hope and healing closer to home.

This Friday, June 12, Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster celebrates 33 years with a special evening that gives back to people in our community. Proceeds from the night will support AdventHealth Cancer Institute, helping more people receive the care, comfort, and support they need close to home.

There is no set menu, ticket price, or designated seating time. Guests can simply enjoy an exceptional dining experience and know their evening is making a meaningful difference.

Registration is now open for the inaugural AdventHealth Ribbon Run 5K. Join us on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at AdventHealth Celebration. More than 140 children now have access to high-quality early education, wellness resources, and compassionate wraparound care during the most important years of development through a partnership between AdventHealth for Children, Primrose School of Lake Mary Heathrow , and generous donors.

The AdventHealth for Children West Lakes Early Learning Center is helping children build strong foundations for learning, growth, and confidence, while giving families meaningful support close to home.
