Another fun-filled day at camp!

In Crafts, campers worked on their farm dioramas, created horse door hangers, and made our special auction piece.

During Activity Discovery, campers enjoyed bubbles, played a lively game of ground Tic-Tac-Toe, and planted flowers to take home and enjoy.

In the riding ring, campers brought their competitive spirit as they navigated egg-and-spoon, obstacle courses and tested their skills during a spirited game of Musical Cones.

Our entertainment for the day was music by Reverend Cody Neal, who kept everyone smiling and engaged.

Today’s snack was generously provided by Christ Anglican Church. Thank you for your support of our campers and program!

Today in Crafts, campers continued working on their farm dioramas, painted birdhouses, and decorated pumpkins.

During Activity Discovery, campers enjoyed blowing bubbles, exploring a shaving cream sensory activity, and conducting a colorful magic milk experiment.

In the riding ring, campers practiced their horsemanship skills through games of Red Light, Green Light and Musical Cones.

For entertainment, campers were visited by Starfield Farm Petting Zoo, where they had the opportunity to interact with a variety of animals.

Today’s snack was generously provided by Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Rapidan.

What a spectacular day at camp! ☀️

Our campers stayed busy from morning until afternoon with a lineup full of fun, creativity, and big surprises. Here is a look at what we got up to today:

In the Ring: Campers officially met their horse buddies for the week! They saddled up, found their balance, and really started getting into the swing of riding. 🐎

Arts & Crafts: Creativity was in full bloom! We kicked off our farm diorama projects, painted some beautiful stepping stones to take home, and practiced gratitude by writing thank-you cards. 🎨

A Special Visit: A huge thank you to the County of Orange Fire & EMS for stopping by! The kids absolutely loved getting to tour the ambulance and meet some of our local heroes. 🚑💨

Recreation: Energy levels were high during free time! We played some epic games of giant tic-tac-toe and made some serious waves with the parachute. 🪂

Activity Discovery: We turned into nature detectives for a lively nature hunt and a competitive round of bingo! 🌲🔍

🍿 A Huge Thank You: Another special shout-out to Orange Baptist Church for today's delicious snacks and keeping our campers fueled up for all the action!

We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! Check out some highlights from our day in the photos below. 👇More photos from today will be coming after camp concludes!
