Reading Takes Flight at the Orange County Airport

9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Get ready for take-off! Join the library at the Orange County Airport on October 17th for Reading Takes Flight! What's landing at the event:

For Kids 18 mos.-6 years: 10:30 a.m. Fun, aviation-themed story time and craft!

For Adults: 9:30 a.m. A fascinating historical presentation featuring Captain Andrew Maples, Jr. Orange's hometown Tuskegee Airman!

For All Ages: 10:30-12:30 p.m. Activities hosted by the Civil Air Patrol and, weather permitting, a CAP aircraft on-site for photos!

We are thrilled to bring this special event to our community as part of our rural library program with the Smithsonian Institution. This is a FREE event, no registration required.
