Chartered on April 22, 1931 by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Florida. It is not a religion, but rather teaches moral (secular) philosophy through activity.

Though there is a requirement for belief in a Supreme Being, Freemasonry is neither a forum for nor a place of worship. For nearly 300 years it has attracted men of high moral character who support the tenets of temperance, fortitude, prudence and justice.

Good morning, my Brothers,

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the Brothers who have donated so far to our Fall 2026 Charity Thanksgiving Food Drive. Your gracious generosity is truly appreciated.

This ongoing Food Drive is set up to support the Clothes Closet & Food Pantry of Orange Park's efforts to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in serious need within the Orange Park Community.

There are two ways you can help make this Food Drive a massive success:

1) FOOD DONATIONS:

We are collecting the following food items at Lodge:

- Instant potatoes (boxes or bags)
- Stuffing/dressing (boxes)
- Chicken broth (boxes or cans)
- Cranberry sauce (cans)
- Gravy (cans or packets)
- Mushroom soup (cans)
- Corn (cans)
- Green beans (cans)
- Fried onions (packets or containers)
- Yams (cans)
- Powdered milk (boxes or packets)

***Please make sure all donated food is less than two years old***

2) MONETARY DONATIONS:

If you prefer to make a monetary donation, all contributions will go toward providing turkeys and other essential meal items for families in need this Thanksgiving. We will be "passing the hat" in Lodge to help collect monetary donations for this great cause.

DONATION DROP-OFF DATES:

Please bring your food and/or monetary donations to one of our upcoming Stated Communications on:

- Monday, October 19, 2026
- Monday, November 2, 2026

Every donation, large or small, will make a difference in helping local families, who might not otherwise, enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

Good morning, Brothers!

Lsst night, the Brothers of Districts 8 & 9 came together for our October 2026 NEFMA meeting here at Orange Park Lodge No. 267 F&AM. It was a great evening full of laughter, fellowship, and charity. It is always great to see so many friendly faces and Brothers gathered together in one place.

We were also visited by the JAX21 Rainbow Girls who demonstrated a wonderful ceremony for us this evening. Great job, Ladies!

Thank you, Brothers, for coming out and supporting the Northeast Florida Masonic Association, and for everything that you do for our Lodge and Fraternity. God Bless!

Just wanted to send out a quick friendly reminder, this month's meeting of the Northeast Florida Masonic Association (NEFMA) will be held at Orange Park Lodge No. 267 this Wednesday, October 28th, 2026. Dinner is at 6:30pm with the meeting the follow at 7:30pm.

Come out, enjoy some great food, and even better fellowship with Brothers from across the Greater Jacksonville area.

Yesterday was another great day for Florida Freemasonry!

The day began with a picture hanging ceremony for our Past Grand Master, Tali Atala at our Grand Lodge on Merrill Road. Brothers from across the state drove into town to witness the event, including many of MW Atala's Past Grand Officers, DDGMs, and DIs. Despite the poor weather conditions outside, the event went off without a hitch, and there was plenty of laughter and merriment to go around. No sooner than the picture hanging ceremony ended, however, we all had to pack up and beat feet over to the Morocco Shrine Temple in Orange Park for the main event of the evening, the Grand Master's Official Visit to the 8th & 9th District.

A sea of Brothers were in attendance to welcome our beloved Grand Master, Haskell Vest Jr.. He has remained steadfast in his vision for our Brotherhood this year, with a sincere focus on: GOD. FAMILY. FRATERNITY. He spoke of our distress Brothers in the panhandle recently affected by Hurricane Isaias, our role as Masons to lend aid, and all of the wonderful charitable actions already happening across the state. He also spoke of his love for our Fraternity, and his belief in an even brighter tomorrow.

The Northeast Florida Masonic Association did a fantastic job planning and executing the GMOV. The Rainbow Girls and Demolay were also on deck helping out with all of the many moving parts that made the evening go so well. Hats off to them for all their hard work, and for ensuring everything ran so smoothly!

Orange Park Masonic Lodge No. 267 F&AM also showed up in force last night, with 13 Brothers in attendence alongside their wives and families. Our Lodge was honored to be able to present our Grand Master with four donations in support of the Grand Master's Charity, Lady's Charity, MH-100, FA-100, and LYPMGC. These are wonderful initiatives within our Fraternity, and are at the heart of what we do as Masons. Thank you to the Brothers of our Lodge for all of your yearly support of these important initiatives.

All-in-all, it was a fantastic evening. Fun and fellowship could easily be found around every corner, and was never in short supply. It was truly great to be able to spend quality time among so many wonderful Brothers, families, and friends.

After taking a short break in observance of Labor Day, Orange Park Orange Park Masonic Lodge No. 267 F&AM was back in full swing last night at our Stated Communication, and it certainly didn't disappointment! Our Junior Warden & Stewards started the night out by preparing a fine meal for the Brothers. We also welcomed two guest visitors to our Lodge who are both looking to join the Fraternity. All around, we had a great group of Brothers present last night, and there was no shortage of fun and fellowship to go around.

We also had the disinct honor of hosting RW Allen Barcus, District Deputy Grand Master for the 8th Masonic District, and the Brothers of Amelia Lodge No. 47 who came down to visit with us, and conduct a little business of their own. They began the evening by bestowing MW Jeff Foster, Grand Secretary, with an Honorary Membership to their Lodge, and presenting him with a certificate, an honor MW Jeff greatly appreciated.

They also figured that since they had travelled all the way down from Amelia Island, they might as well try to take Orange Park Lodge's Traveling Trophy while they were here too. They showed up with only four Brothers in total, after a couple of their number were unable to attend last minute due to unexpected illness/personal matters, BUT after presenting MW Jeff with honorary membership to their Lodge, their number present suddenly (and conveniently, I might add) jumped to five, the minimum number needed to claim our trophy. While I must say, in all my years, I have never seen such "slick" and "questionable" 🧐 tactics employed in meeting the miminum requirements needed to acquire a traveling trophy from a Lodge, I do have to say, I can't help but be a little impressed somehow at their ingenuity and original thinking 🤣🤣🤣. At the end of the day, however, the sole purpose of any traveling trophy is to encourage travel between Lodges, and promote fellowship across the larger Craft. With that spirit in mind, we happily looked past their unconventional methods, and awarded them the trophy. All jokes aside, we sincerely appreciate the Brothers of Amelia Lodge for taking the time to drive so far to come visit with us last night, and we really enjoyed your company. We WILL be seeing you again soon!

Thank you again to all the Brothers and guests who made last night so memorable. It’s evenings like this that remind us all of the true value of our Fraternity. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next Stated Communication, and until then, safe travels! @

Today, Orange Park Lodge No. 267 joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Twenty five years later, we still honor the innocent lives taken, the families forever changed, and the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and everyday citizens who answered the call with courage and selfless service.

May we never forget the sacrifice, the unity, and the strength shown on that day and in the days that followed.
