Ladies and Gentlemen!

Orange City Arts and the Northwestern College Music Department are beyond pleased to announce that the Boston Brass will be performing at Northwestern College on April 6th!

The Boston Brass are a globally-acclaimed brass quintet known for their unique arrangements, versitility in musical style, and having lots of fun while doing it! The group has performed in all 50 US States and 30 countries abroad. They will be joined by Northwestern College's own Symphonic Band. We're beyond blessed and privileged to have the opportuntiy for them to perform here!

This concert is still a ways off, but be sure to tell your friends, family, and anyone else who has a love for great music to consider joining us for a stellar concert this April!

We have a couple updates for you:

1. The registration window for the Community Choir has been extended until next week Saturday! We are in need of baritone and bases. If you love singing and want to be part of a new community choir, consider signing up, or telling your friends and family! You can register at orangecityarts.org under "events".

The Stop Motion Animation Workshop scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 21st!

Stop Motion Animation is an older form of animation consiting of adjusting figures in between shots that creates the illusion of Motion. The medium's physical nature and craftsmanship has an element of charm unique to Stop Motion. Notable pieces of media and film include "Wallace and Gromit", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "The Fantastic Mr. Fox", and the upcoming film "Wildwood"!

The Workshop will take place in the Town Hall (125 Central Ave S, Orange City) from 1-3pm. The total cost for the event is $15/person. You can register at orangecityarts.org under "events". We hope to see you there!

Join us on Friday, Novemeber 6th for another phenomenal performance from world-renowned pianists Duo Mundi!

Pianists George Lopez and Gulimina Mahamuti are both incredible musicians and instructors in their own right. Together, they are unbelievable. Known for playing both traditional and contemporary repitoire, their music spans generations amd countries, having performed across the United States, Mexico, China, Brazil, Portugal, Switzerland, and Italy. This
November, they're playing here.

Ticket costs are $15/adult, $5/student, and free for NWC students and kids aged 5 and under. Tickets will be avaliable at the door or on orangecityarts.org

Patrick Dailey BROUGHT DOWN THE HOUSE last Thursday night with an unforgettable choral concert! Being joined by MOC Floyd Valley's Dutchman Choir and the Northwestern College A ca****la Choir, Patrick put on a concert chalk-full of incredible music, with each song dripping with passion and soul. He even got the audience to join him (see the last slide, please excuse my voice)! Thanks again Patrick Dailey for coming over to Iowa to perform for us!

If you're looking for more stellar musical concerts to attend, we have another amazing concert coming up on Friday, November 6th, when Duo Mundo comes to town! We hope to see you there!

Patrick Dailey came to work with the MOC Floyd-Valley Dutchman Choir this morning in preparation for tonight's concert!

Patrick Dailey is performing TONIGHT! If you're interested in coming, you can purchase tickets online at orangecityarts.org or you can get them in person at the door. Tickets are $15/adult, $5/student (MOC and Northwestern students are FREE), and children 5 and under are free. Come join us tonight for a stellar night of gospel, soul, and vibrant music!

Patrick Dailey and the A ca****la Choir were hard at work this afternoon preparing for tomorrow!

Folks, Patrick Dailey's going to be performing TOMORROW NIGHT at the Christ Chapel @ 7:30pm. The MOC Floyd Valley Dutchman Choir will be joining him as well! Tickets are $15/adult, $5/student, and free for children 5 and under, as well as for Northwestern and MOC students. Tickets will be available at the door or on orangecityarts.org.

Join us on Thursday, October 8th, for a phenomenal concert led by the incredible Patrick Dailey! He will be joined by the Northwestern College A ca****la Choir and the MOC-Floyd Valley Concert Choir.

Patrick is an incredibly accomplished countertenor gospel singer, being described as possessing a "powerful and elegant countertenor voice". He currently is the national conductor of the 105 Voices of History National HBCU Choir, serves on Opera America's Learning and Leadership Council, is a musical consultant for Early Music America and New Music USA, and is the recipient of countless other accolades. We are blessed to have such an artist to join us for a wonderful concert!

The concert will be held at Northwestern College's Christ Chapel at 7:30pm. Ticket costs are $15/adult and $5/student. Tickets are free for Northwestern College students and children 5 and under. We hope to see you there!

Orange City Arts officially has an Artists' Directory!

We were interested in creating a directory for local artists to make it easier for locals to contact local artists for commissions and events. The directory currently has a handful of artists, but would like to see it grow overtime. If you are interested in being included, DM us here or by emailing [email protected].
