Losing someone to su***de brings a unique and deeply personal grief. The mix of emotions — sadness, anger, confusion, guilt, loneliness — can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

Our Grief Support Group offers a safe, confidential, and compassionate space for those impacted by a death by su***de. This free, ongoing group is open to Madison County, NY residents and provides connection, understanding, and support from others who truly understand this kind of loss.

Where and how you store cannabis products matters. 💚

Consider choosing one secure place in your home for cannabis products and making it a habit to return them there after every use. A consistent storage routine can make it easier to remember, even when you're in a hurry or have guests coming over.

And don't forget about products in bags, purses, or other places you may carry them. Keeping cannabis secured when you're on the go is part of responsible storage, too.

A little planning can help protect children, pets, visitors, and anyone who may accidentally come across a product.

You can pick up a FREE cannabis lock bag at participating locations, including:

A quick check around the house can make a big difference. 💚

Cannabis products can look appealing or familiar to children, and accidental exposure can happen when products are left somewhere accessible.

A recent New York State Department of Health report found that cannabis-related poisoning emergency department visits nearly doubled statewide from 2016 to 2024, with the sharpest increases among children ages 0–4 and 5–14.

If children live in or visit your home, take a few minutes to look around and consider where cannabis products are stored. Making safe storage part of your routine can help prevent accidental exposure before it happens.

MYTH: Ma*****na is natural, so it’s safe.

FACT: Just because cannabis comes from a plant doesn't mean it's risk-free.

Cannabis products today can contain much higher concentrations of THC than cannabis of decades past. Higher-THC products can produce stronger intoxicating effects and increase the risk of overconsumption.

Cannabis can affect memory, attention, coordination, decision-making, and reaction time, and it can have other health and safety risks.

“Natural” doesn't automatically mean “safe.” Know the facts. Share the facts.
