🚓🚛Our campers had a pretty cool surprise this past week with Touch-A-Truck!

👏They got to explore different vehicles up close, ask questions, and learn more about the people and equipment that help keep our community moving.

👉A big thank you to TDS Heavy Towing & Recovery, Inc., Greensburg Indiana Police Department, Greensburg Community Schools, Decatur County EMC, Decatur County REMC, and MacAllister Rentals for taking the time to stop by and make the day so fun for our campers. We appreciate you!

Celebrating Men’s Week starts tomorrow! 💪

From June 19–25, men can use the YMCA facility for FREE in honor of Father’s Day. Whether you’re getting in a workout, shooting hoops, swimming laps, joining a class, or just checking out the Y, this week is for you.

We’ll also have FREE Child Watch for members and non-members available during the special, so you can take time for yourself while the kids have a safe, fun place to play.

Big summer plans? Add swim confidence to the list. 💦

👉July swim lessons are coming up at the YMCA, and spots are still available for families looking to help their swimmer feel safer and more comfortable in the water!

Classes are available on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, with options for different ages and skill levels:

💧 Level 1 - Water Acclimation | Ages 3–5 | 4:30–5:00 PM
• Helps swimmers become comfortable in the water while learning basic safety and movement skills.

💧 Level 2 - Water Movement | Ages 3–12 | 5:10–5:40 PM
• Builds on basic skills and introduces forward movement, floating, and continued water safety.

💧 Level 3 - Water Stamina | Ages 5–12 | 5:50–6:20 PM
• Helps swimmers develop endurance, improve technique, and continue building confidence in the water.

👏From first-time swimmers to kids ready to build stronger skills, our lessons are all about progress, safety, and confidence in the water.

💙 Celebrating Men’s Week is coming to the Y!

🏋️‍♂️In honor of Father’s Day, men are invited to use the facility for free from June 19–25. This is open to both members and non-members, so whether you already call the Y home or you’ve been wanting to check it out, this week is for you!

🍓This past Friday, members of our YMCA team volunteered at the Decatur County United Fund’s Strawberry Festival - and it was a sweet way to serve our community!

The United Fund plays an important role in supporting local organizations throughout our community, including the Y, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support an event that gives so much back to Decatur County!

The YMCA will be closing at 7:30 PM on Friday, June 5 for a staff appreciation event!

🎉We’re excited to take a little time to celebrate the amazing staff who help make the Y feel like home for our members, families, and community! Their dedication, kindness, and hard work make a difference every single day.
