Talking Tombstones: Walk Among History & Hear Their Stories | Sneak Peek #1 👀 Here’s your first clue…

This woman was connected to one of Greensburg’s most important landmarks and was there when it first opened its doors in 1905. Any guesses who she might be? 🤔

Many notable individuals are buried at South Park Cemetery, and 15 of them will be featured during our Talking Tombstones tours! We’re giving you a sneak peek at just a few of these individuals whose lives and stories helped shape Greensburg’s history.

Every trail is about connection: linking places, neighbors, and community. We're proud to share this new addition on the Connection Trail, a mural at the Barachel Lane crossing! 🎨🌳

The artist, Emily Rosales, is a Greensburg Community High School graduate and a student in the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program. Her mural celebrates one of our community's most beloved landmarks: the courthouse tree.

In her design, the mulberry's many leaf shapes stand for the different people who make Greensburg a stronger, more welcoming place. The red berries represent prosperity and a fruitful future. She also pointed out that mulberries are ever-bearing, producing fruit again and again each season, much like a community that keeps growing and thriving.

Emily designed the mural to be a moment of reflection and connection along the trail. It invites everyone who passes to engage with our city's history and celebrate the enduring spirit of its people.

🎭✨ Congratulations to the winners of our Recycled Mask Art Show! ✨🎭

We were blown away by the creativity and imagination that went into turning everyday recycled materials into incredible works of art. A huge thank-you to every artist who entered. You made choosing winners a real challenge!
