A first for Westbury, and a moment to make history!

The Westbury High School Marching Dragons are ready to take the stage at the Newsday Marching Band Festival for the very first time, bringing their show, “Beyond The Beat,” to an evening celebrating the talent, discipline, and artistry of high school marching bands across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

In a special honor, Westbury has been selected as the festival’s opening performance, allowing our Marching Dragons to set the tone for the evening and represent our community from the very first note. Our musicians, color guard, and performers are excited to share their hard work, showcase their talent, and let Westbury pride ring loud.

Join us as we cheer on our Marching Dragons for this exciting milestone. Westbury, let’s show up and support our own as they take the field and go Beyond The Beat!
