Thank you for supporting our initiative “Lounge for a Cause.” Abiha Khan is not your typical influencer. This Pakistani-American mom of two is an established entrepreneur, CEO of the fabulous Southeast Asian boutique, Studio Elite and the Owner and maker of Shopvibe beauty.
Even with her busy schedule she manages to support small businesses while of course working on her large brand partnerships.
Don't be surprised if you find her on the gram in full glam with a nerf ball in hand, a broom in the other while marinading a chicken with Shahn spice masala. Oh! and this all while she films a high quality video for IGTV.
We just don't know how she does it but she never seizes to inspire us at Minority Women of America!

Thank you for supporting "Lounge for a Cause." Through your collaboration with who hand tie dyed and personalized your “Ate all my Quarantine Snack” sweatshirt, we were able to raise enough money to provide a special lunch for our front line workers. The lunch will be delivered today at testing sites across Suffolk County, Long Island.
Keep inspiring!

We'd like to put a community spotlight on Sunnya Sultan, a fashion influencer and trained emergency medical technician from New York.
She is an intellectual woman in fashion. We appreciate her openness to discuss, communicate and support organizations such as ours.
Recently, she joined our initiative "Lounge for a Cause" in which we partnered with the event stylist and designer .
Sunnya helped spread the message for our campaign in which sold hand tie dyed social distancing and personalized shirts from which a portion of the proceeds went to catering lunch for our health care heroes at the covid-19 testing sites throughout Suffolk County.
We'd like to thank Sunnya for her time and support!

How To Own Your Feminine Strengths At Work by “Though of course both men and women have intuition, there may actually be science behind why we refer to it as “women's intuition.” Women’s ability to draw insight from what seems intangible is in fact just heightened sensory ability, because we’re using our senses to pick up on cues others may miss—even if we’re doing it subconsciously, says Stanton and her co-author, Catherine Connors, in The Feminine Revolution. “Research on nonverbal communication has shown women in general are better than men at reading facial expressions, and so can pick up on more subtle emotional messages,” Stanton says.”

We’d like to thank Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone for recognizing “The Minority Women of America.” The office of Steve Bellone was efficient, timely and responsive in helping us execute some of our campaigns.
Melanie Sinesi, Director of Community Affairs from The Suffolk County Executive Office assisted us in arranging for the pick up and delivery of kn95 masks as well as identifying where the need was most urgent.
Allison McCann assisted our organization in distributing lunch to thank our health care workers at the test sites across Suffolk County.
Thank you Steve Bellone and your wonderful team. You are all doing an excellent job in supporting and encouraging the community and organizations such as ours.
Special thanks to the essential workers at the Department of Public Works!
Thank you to "The Original Brooklyn Pizza" of Commack for collaborating with "The Minority Women of America." Because of you we were able to send lunch over to the staff at various testing sites across Suffolk County, Long Island.
