TWO CULTURES COLLIDE
Yesterday, our friends from Forge Ministries (motor cycle members) were at our Fields of Hope Pavilion for a lunch and baptism ceremony. Our Algerian Berber Fellowship friends were across the parking lot at our Ministry Center for Sunday worship.

They were randomly invited over for lunch, and to be a part of the baptism ceremony and the rest is history. Brothers and sisters from two very different cultures, united by Christ, celebrating new life together.

A wonderful evening on Friday at Frisco Lake Park with Lakehurst neighborhood friends and other nearby neighbors. Special thanks to the grill team, the neighborhood team volunteers and all who helped put the event together! A great time of connecting and sharing of the life and joy and hope found in Christ!

A sweet time of fellowship and re-connecting last evening at Frisco Lake with some of our Language Partners and their students. They are looking forward to the fall semester beginning.

Grateful for the team at Heartland Fence KC for tearing down an old, worn out section of fence at our HQ, and replacing it with a new upgraded solution. We appreciate our faithful business partners.

Welcome to the team, Amy Hill and Katie Gorman. After 8+ years of faithful service, our beloved Darla Chapman is retiring from her ministry at Mission Southside. Amy and Katie will share in the responsibilities of stewarding our thriving Language Class Program. Well done Darla, and welcome, Amy and Katie.

Thank you to everyone who provided back to school supplies through MSS this last month. They have all been given to worthy recipients and the school year is off to a great start.
