Children get to design their own custom Converse and delivered to their doorstep! Meet 15-year-old Aly!!!

At 15, Aly was diagnosed with Thryoid Cancer and immediately knew she wanted to give smiles to children who are experiencing all forms of medical trauma... not just cancer! She’s the teen behind “Kick Cancer Like a Girlboss!”
When Aly received a donation from a friend as she was going through radiation, she decided to design a pair of Converse and immediately knew that she wanted to donate the res

t by gifting customized shoes to other kids and teens who were battling health challenges! She quickly reached her fundraising goal of donating 15 pairs of Converse (since she’s 15) but now she doesn’t want to stop there! She would love to gift as many kids the chance to design their own personalized shoes as possible! ��

While she’s “kickin” thyroid cancer, Hoshimoto disease and hypothyroid- she’s lifting the spirits of so many who are going through some tough times… and not just cancer! Within the first 3 months of this fundraiser, Aly has shipped out 90 pairs of Converse to kids battling 41 different illnesses in 14 different states and even internationally to Australia! With every donation, you are bringing smiles to kids who have no other choice than to fight. �

Aly loves theater, volleyball, spending time with friends, sunrises, theme parks, music at all hours, her dogs, Converse, traveling, the mountains and all water activities like jet skiing, boogie boarding, fishing and parasailing! She’s a dare-devil and wants to go skydiving on her 18th birthday! Her next big goal is to raise enough donations ($20,000) to gift 300 pairs of shoes by her 16th birthday in September!

Bella is an endlessly energetic 6-year-old whose vibrant personality lights up any room she enters. She adores her 3 year-old brother and two pet dogs. She loves gymnastics, rock climbing, reading, crafts, and all things rainbow and sparkly. She is a budding fashionista and couldn’t be more excited to show off her new converses. 🥰

Bella was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 5 and is in her second year of treatment at Dana Farber. She is responding well to treatment and amazes us all with her resilience and bravery. She is looking forward to completing treatment in November 2026!

Syanna is a sweet 4 year old little girl that fought stage 4 neuroblastoma from the age of 11 months to 18 months. She went through chemo, surgeries, bone marrow biopsies, alot of scans, transfusions and this girl still always had a smile on her face. 🥰🥰

Last year we found out that she developed severe neurogenic bowel due to the cancer and treatments. She also has gastroproesis from the cancer.

Syanna loves disney. Especially elsa and Anna. Yesterday syanna got to ring the bell signifying the end of cancer scans she needs no more scans!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Asher is three years old and full of personality. He loves Bluey, belly laughs at the silliest things, and has the sweetest, most observant little heart. He’s happiest when he’s with his siblings, watching his favorite shows, or turning everyday moments into something magical.

July of 2025, Asher was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (B-ALL). What started as fevers and limping turned into a journey no family expects, but he has faced every test, procedure, and hospital stay with more bravery than most adults.

He is currently undergoing treatment and will continue chemotherapy in the months ahead. While the road isn’t easy, Asher’s joy, resilience, and bright spirit remind us daily that he is so much more than his diagnosis.

He is our Bluey-loving warrior, small but mighty. 💪

Sami is a fun-loving, outgoing, adventurous 16 year old. She loves God, reading, dance, school, and being with friends. ❤️🙏❤️🙏

Her new Converse are black and white with embroidered flowers. On the back they say, “L alto” which means “to the heights,” in Italian after her favorite saint. 🫶

Welcome to our newest Girlboss, Aspen!!!

Aspen is a spunky 4-year-old who loves dancing, singing and playing with her doggie maverick! 🐾 She loves hanging out with her sisters and playing games! She loves anything water and is getting ready to starting dance and music lessons! Her favorite band is Katseye! 🫶

Aspen, known as their “sweet little sour patch kid” is currently in treatment for ALL Bcell Leukemia!! 💪

“It’s the most amazing and classiest prosthetic ever!” ❤️

Laci is a fun, smart, and creative kiddo. She loves listening to music (any kind), playing games on her ps5, switch 2, and iPad with her friends, and cracking jokes with everyone.

She enjoys making people laugh, even on her toughest days. Laci loves watching anime. She enjoyed playing basketball and soccer (will eventually be able to again one day when she has other issues post chemo healed).

She misses riding her bike around the block and playing outside, running around with the neighborhood kids.

She has been out of school since 5th grade in 2024, but has a teacher come for her classes at home (thank god because mom is no teacher!). She is fearless, sassy, funny, beautiful, kind, and loved by everyone who meets her.

Laci has been through hip and leg amputation, MAP chemotherapy, bilateral thoracotomy lung surgery, lung cryoablation surgery, 3 wound surgeries, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (daily from October 2025 to January 2026, sooo boring nap time, according to her lol), and now wound grafts weekly. But she rocks it everyday!

Laci!!! We can’t wait tosee you play basketball in this super amazing shoes you designed! You are a true Girlboss! 💜🏀

Kynzie is one of the most empathetic people you’ll ever meet. She loves big and has no problems telling you if she likes something or not. She loves cheetahs, golf, running, art, cooking, and all things purple. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

While Kynzie is not a cancer patient, she is a cancer sibling, and her medical journey started way before gaining that title. 🥺

Kynzie started different therapies at only 9 months old. She has since been diagnosed with Epilepsy, Global Developmental Delay, ARFID(requires a feeding tube), hypotonia, speech apraxia, and most recently a rare gene mutation.

❤️ Aly wasn’t scheduled for the prayer team that night, but she felt called to do so. And that evening, she was able to pray with three special teenagers, one being Maisie, who Aly loves as a sister of her own. ❤️

God is so good. 🙏

Abi is 16 years old and has terminal medulloblastma (brain cancer.) Her first lot of treatment was done in 2021 and unfortunately relapsed in 2024. Since her 1st relaspe she has had 2 surgeries and relasped again.

Even though Abi's prognosis isn't that great, Abi still loves hanging out with her friends and making other kids smile by giving out lollies and throwing them at their parents/carers. 💜 (Abi is from Australia!)

“Those Converse are a great conversation starter and when people have seen her wearing them they look at her and smile and don't just see another kid with cancer.” 🥰

Harper is celebrating TWO years cancer-free with some new sparkly Converse!! ✨🪩✨

“Harper is our miracle baby and little princess! She is the youngest of 5 children.

Harper was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor/Neuroblastoma at 16 months old and began treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She had surgery to remove the tumor and then completed chemotherapy treatment. Harper still returns to St. Jude every 3 months for bloodwork and scans. She just received her 2 year post treatment a scans in December. She is officially 2 years no evidence of disease!”

Way to go Kick Cancer Like a Girlboss!!! 🥰
