CURIOUS CATS BACK-TO-SCHOOL CHALLENGE
We’re excited to announce that Curious Cats Rescue and the YWCA are partnering together to help local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed!

As part of this collaboration, Curious Cats Rescue has committed to providing:

5 Elementary School Backpacks�
5 Middle School Backpacks�
5 High School Backpacks

That’s a total of 15 fully stocked backpacks for students and families served through the YWCA.

How the Challenge Works?
For every 10 combined likes and shares this post receives, we’ll unlock another backpack toward our goal of 15 backpacks!

Why Is a Cat Rescue Doing This?
That’s a fair question.
At Curious Cats Rescue, our mission is centered around helping cats in need. But we also believe that creating a stronger community benefits everyone, people and animals alike.
When children have the supplies they need to succeed in school, families are better supported. When families are stronger and more stable, they’re better able to care for their pets. By investing in both people and animals, we can build a healthier, more compassionate community for everyone.

We believe that helping children and helping animals can go hand in hand, and that working together allows us to achieve bigger things than we ever could alone.

We are ecstatic to share that Curious Cats Rescue’s partnership with Donable, a nonprofit branch of Our Blood Institute, has helped 54 people gain access to seriously needed donated blood products!

Over the past five months 18 amazing people, including community members, board members, and even our graphic designer, rolled up their sleeves and donated blood to help support this lifesaving initiative!

Thanks to their efforts, Curious Cats Rescue has received $2,200 in donations through the Donable Cares program!!! 🧡Which helped us continue our mission of caring for cats in need and also supporting a healthier community together.

We give a huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated! Whether you donated blood, shared our posts, motivated other people to donate, or helped spread the word. Every contribution played a big part in creating a positive, meaningful impact to so many lives!

Together we have shown that helping animals and helping people can go hand in hand. Thank you for being part of this incredible achievement!🐾🧡

Miss Diana just left the groomers and she did great!🥹
She’s all fancied up and still ready for her forever home! Yeah she might have a mean mug but she’s an absolute sweetheart and loves scratchies! She does great around cats and dogs she just prefers to live in her own little world ripping the heads off of freeze dried minnows😂

Thanks to .caninebeautician for the amazing service and the goodie bag of treats!

Miss Diana is a 2-3 year old Maine c**n, spayed, up to date on all shots, fiv/felv negative, and microchipped!

❣️Mr W***y is still waiting for his forever home!❣️

He needs a family with a backyard and one who can handle his high amounts of energy! He does good with dogs but he’s a little too much with cats cause he just doesn’t understand how much bigger and stronger he is than them. He absolutely love’s going to the groomer and even got an A+ on his report card the past two visits! His foster dad even mentioned that’s he’s a cuddle bug once he’s comfortable with you. But Mr W***y is always on the go ready for the next adventure!

He’s neutered, up to date on all shots, 4DX test was negative, and microchipped!

The marks you see on his snout are from his previous owner leaving him in a head collar 24/7. Which is not cool at all!

Our foster parent Kaitlan Davis is moving across the country soon!😭
Thank you for time spent with us and for opening your home to Josue and giving him a chance at finding his forever home! We wish you the absolute best and can’t wait to see what all you accomplish!
We sure are gonna miss you! And I know for a fact that Josue will miss you too!🫶🏼❣️

Pic attached is from her today😂🥹 she saved a kitten off the side of the highway in Okarche! And now that kitten is safe and sound nursing on a momma cat that accepted her! Thank you for going above and beyond for animals in need!

Care packages like this allow us to keep caring for the cats in our foster homes! Which also frees up money for emergency care or vetting cats for adoption!
