Imagine that you are six years old, living in the third motel room this month with Mom and two siblings. Tomorrow is your first day at a Marion County Public School and you know absolutely no one. When you meet the School Counselor she hands you a beautiful backpack filled with nineteen different items needed for classroom work and homework assignments. As you walk into Mrs. Jones’ classroom you can fit right in - nobody knows that you are needy! This is what Stuff the Bus does for thousands of kids every fall. You can help us - please take a few minutes to donate and get a warm, fuzzy feeling of satisfaction. Touch the bus below and go!!

Then I loaded up school supplies to take to Gill Logistics tomorrow in preparation for Saturday’s stuffing of over 5,000 bags for the “Community Give-Back” event on July 26th.

Vanguard NJROTC cadets showed up on Friday the 13th and stuffed over 700 middle and elementary backpacks for distribution to homeless and needy students.

Stuff the Bus is at the Horizon Center, Spruce Creek collecting donations (both cash and school supplies). This is our third year working with these fine people. If you cannot make it here from 9:00-12:00, consider making a donation with either Zelle(c) or Venmo(c).
