Abuse is not okay.

God never calls someone to remain in danger to prove their devotion.

God values the sanctity of marriage.
He also values the safety and dignity of the people in it.

A ring doesn’t change a heart.

Neither does intimacy.

If someone is verbally, emotionally, physically, or sexually abusing you now, don’t assume marriage or intimacy will make it stop.

This goes for men and women.

Jesus said:
