Pinup Partners EOBA is a non-profit, community-based organization that has been providing education, enrichment, and health programs for children and youth since 1987.

Although having roots in boxing, EOBA focuses on providing a safe, nurturing place where local youth can complete their daily homework, participate in fun exercise, explore healthy food grown in our own organic garden, and explore the wildlife in our urban oasis.

Here at EOBA, we believe in teaching our youth the value of respect - both for themselves and for others. Our coaches model what it means to communicate kindly, resolve conflicts calmly, and lift each other up.

Inside these walls, our young champions gain discipline and character. They learn that showing compassion and having concern for those around you are the building blocks of community. How we treat each other matters.

This quote perfectly captures the grit and spirit of our young champions here at EOBA! While going for that "win" is important, at the end of the day, it's all about the journey of growth.

Our youth show up day after day, willing to work hard and try their absolute best. When they get knocked down, they get back up even stronger. They surround themselves with a community who believes in them. They keep reaching, dreaming, sweating, and swinging - ready to give it their all the next round.

It's this passion and perseverance that mold our youth into true champions. The life lessons they gain here in our gym extend far beyond the ring. There are no limits when you commit fully and keep growing. We're so proud of each of our young champions! 🥊

Turns out, it was a 15-YEAR-OLD KID named Chester Greenwood! Back in 1873, tired of freezing ears during Maine winters, Chester whipped up some fur-lined ear protectors using wire and his grandma's sewing skills. Talk about resourceful!

Today, earmuffs keep countless people warm and comfy – from skiers hitting the slopes to musicians blocking out noise. ❄️
