Established in 1833, St. James is the oldest original church structure in Ithaca and has a rich history as a place of worship and activism. Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman also spoke and attended services at St. James.
Building on our original collaboration with St. James AME Zion Church and Cornell University, this updated experience features new content and interactive features that invite visitors to explore the church’s history and its continued importance to the Ithaca community.

Across 12 hours of live instruction, we’ll cover image alignment, mesh generation and cleanup, texturing, optimization, troubleshooting, and the production of useful 3D outputs using RealityCapture.

We’re excited to launch a new virtual experience of Weaverville Joss House State Historic Park, created through a collaboration between CyArk, California State Parks, and Parks California.

Using detailed 3D documentation of this remarkable historic temple, the experience invites virtual visitors to explore a place that has served its community for more than 150 years. Along the way, hear from experts who shed light on Chinese American history, Taoist philosophies, and the community connected to the temple.

Whether you’re discovering Weaverville Joss House State Historic Park for the first time or looking to deepen your understanding of this important place, this immersive experience offers a new way to connect with its stories, spaces, and history no matter where you are.

Home to a signer of the Declaration of Independence, the house was also a place of learning, politics, and everyday life, shaped by Wythe as well as the family, students, and enslaved people who lived and worked there.

CyArk is proud to be part of the first-ever U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) grant awarded in the United Kingdom.

In partnership with the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust and the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum, we’ll use 3D documentation and digital storytelling to capture Andrew Carnegie’s birthplace cottage, Pittencrieff Park, and related historic sites in Dunfermline, Scotland.

The project, Scottish Roots, American Ideals: Sharing Carnegie’s Legacy, will bring audiences closer to the places that shaped Carnegie’s early life, philanthropic vision, and values — and explore the remarkable transatlantic story connecting his Scottish roots with his legacy in the United States and around the world.

Thank you to the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy London, Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, and Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum for making this work possible.

This virtual professional learning program will help K–12 educators use immersive 3D places, primary sources and diverse perspectives to create engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences.

Participants will:

This week, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey brings one of the ancient world’s great journeys back to the big screen. But the stories of heroes, gods, love, and betrayal told across the Greek islands are much older.

On the Greek island of Naxos, another legendary voyage reached a turning point. According to mythology, Theseus stopped on the island after escaping Crete and defeating the Minotaur. The monumental gateway of the unfinished Temple of Apollo, known today as the Portara, stands within a landscape deeply connected to this ancient story.

As audiences prepare to rediscover the world of Homer, we invite you to explore another chapter of Greece’s mythological and cultural landscape through our new Temple of Apollo Tapestry experience.
