Dr. Chinh Phan is a board-certified interventional pulmonologist specializing in advanced, minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of lung and pleural diseases. As Director of the Interventional Pulmonology Program and Associate Physician Lead for the Lung Cancer Integrated Service Line, he is dedicated to advancing innovative approaches to respiratory care and improving outcomes for patients with complex lung conditions.⁣

Dr. Phan has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the UC Davis Robotic Bronchoscopy Program. Under his leadership, the program achieved a significant milestone with the completion of the first single-anesthesia diagnosis-to-treatment procedure for early-stage lung cancer using a fully robotic approach within the UC health system and the VA Northern California Health Care System. His expertise, innovation, and commitment to patient-centered care continue to shape the future of minimally invasive pulmonary medicine.⁣
