*Help an Indian-American Student at Henry Ford Hospital-Detroit Fight for His Life*

Prudhvi Reddy, a 25-year-old student from India pursuing his Master’s at Central Michigan University, was just two weeks away from graduation when he suffered life-threatening complications from ulcerative colitis and massive internal bleeding.

He was airlifted to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where doctors performed emergency surgery, including removal of his colon. Instead of celebrating graduation, he spent his 25th birthday in the ICU fighting for his life.

Prudhvi now faces months of recovery, additional medical procedures, expiring insurance, and overwhelming medical expenses. His parents are urgently trying to travel from India to care for him.

This fundraiser is fully vetted and supported by organizations including MICS, SEWA International, VT Seva, DTC, and DTA.

What an incredible day!

ASF’s 10th Anniversary Charity Walkathon was a huge success, with 675+ community members registered in support of our mission to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged children.

From the beautiful weather to the amazing energy and enthusiasm of our supporters, the day could not have gone better. The event was executed flawlessly thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and community partners.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and encouraged others to join us. Your support continues to inspire us and helps ASF make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in need.
