New Hope Center for Grief Support helps adults and children find hope, healing, and new beginnings after the death of a loved.

💛 Grief doesn’t take a night off, and neither does support.

Family Friday is a monthly evening for children ages 4-14 and their parents or caregivers who are grieving the death of a loved one. Children and adults meet separately in age-appropriate, supportive spaces. This program is free of charge for families.

Monthly Theme: Griefitti for Children's Grief Awareness Month
Children will use spray bottles filled with diluted, washable paint to create colorful designs on their canvases. Once their backgrounds are complete, they can add details and personal touches using other art materials. This creative activity gives children the opportunity to express their grief journey.

This is a space to connect, create, and feel less alone alongside others who understand.

Young Adult Grief Support Group:
If you have experienced the death of a loved one, we want you to know that you aren't alone.

Join our free Ongoing Virtual Young Adult Grief Support Group, a supportive space for young adults (ages 18-30), to connect with others who understand the challenges of grief, share experiences, and find comfort in community.

🐾 A little extra comfort goes a long way!

One of the sweetest parts of our "From Grief to New Hope" 8-Week Workshop is being greeted by our special four-legged friends! 💙

Animals have such a unique way of connecting with people, offering comfort without words, and helping create a calm, welcoming environment from the moment someone walks through the door.

We are so grateful to our therapy dogs and their wonderful handlers who generously share their time and compassion with our workshop participants. Their presence is a beautiful reminder that support can come in many forms, sometimes with a wagging tail and a friendly nudge. 🐶

Thank you for helping make New Hope a place where everyone feels welcome, supported, and a little less alone.

The holidays can be difficult after the loss of a loved one, but you don't have to navigate it alone. This seminar will provide practical tools and stories from those who have experienced loss and found Hope for the Holidays. This seminar is for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. It is free, but registration is required.

💙 Last night, we continued our "From Grief to New Hope" 8-Week Workshop with Week 6: “My Family’s Not the Same.”

Grief can change family dynamics in ways we never expected. Relationships may shift, roles may look different, and each family member may navigate their grief in their own way. These changes can be difficult to understand, especially when everyone is trying to adjust to life after loss.

A heartfelt thank you to Rick Schulkey for joining us and sharing his insight on this important topic. We are grateful for his willingness to help participants better understand the ways grief can affect families and remind them that they are not alone in navigating these changes.

At New Hope, we recognize that grief affects more than just the individual. It can change the way families communicate, connect, and support one another. Creating space for these conversations helps us better understand ourselves and each other as we find our way forward. 💙

🎃🍂 At this month’s Family Friday, our kids decorated pumpkins with colors, designs, and memories inspired by their loved ones. They also colored memory trees, reflecting on the special people who will always hold a place in their hearts. These creative activities offered a meaningful way to remember, express feelings, and celebrate the connections that remain. 💙

At New Hope, we believe that children deserve a safe place to express their feelings, connect with others who understand, and discover that they are not alone in their grief. We are so grateful for the families who join us each month!
