Garden Club members celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden Association, Michigan Division at the beautiful Clara and Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn with beautiful table settings on the terrace, foods and music in the Music Room, speeches by dignitaries and presentations of awards given to Distinguished Members who had been nominated by their branches. Here’s to the next 100 years!

We celebrated our 90th anniversary with a wonderful event at Genitti’s restaurant in downtown Northville.
Northville Garden Club was formed on May 25th, 1936 and our wonderful members of the 90th Anniversary Party Committee had provided a lovely display of very interesting old photos and documents from the club over the decades. We also had beautiful table settings and a glorious and delicious cake! We welcomed a number of honored guests and two scholarship recipients and our officers for the upcoming year were installed.

The sale is ON! Come on down to the park behind Northville Library and purchase some plants and delicious baked goods and garden totems until 12pm today.

Please join us for our meeting on Monday, May 11th 2026 at the Cady Inn, Mill Race Village, Northville.
Could all members please arrive slightly before 12 noon so that we can take a group photo of everyone, to be used in our 90th anniversary celebrations.
Lunch and the membership meeting will follow.
Our presentation at 1:30pm will be on “Garden Totem Art” by Sandy M.

Today members held a workshop to craft many garden totems, which will be available to purchase at our Plant and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 16th.

Please join us for our April meeting on Monday, April 13th 2026 at the Cady Inn, Mill Race Village, Northville.
We gather at 12pm for socializing and lunch provided by our talented members, followed at 1:30pm by a very interesting presentation by Jim Porterfield of Northville Tree Champions. Jim will be telling us about some amazing trees in Northville and teaching us how we can all take care of the trees we see around us.
