A few members of our amazing PTSA Board recently attended the PTSA District Dinner, and what a beautiful evening it was! The garden-themed event was the perfect setting to celebrate the incredible work happening across our school communities. 🌿✨
We are so proud to share that our PTSA received a Certificate of Recognition for achieving an increase in membership during the 2025–2026 school year! This accomplishment reflects the strength of our school community and the support of our amazing families, staff, and members.
We also want to give a huge congratulations to our Executive Vice President, Samisha Thomas-Hans, who was honored with the Linda Ross Emerging Leader Award – Tier 3! This recognition is so well deserved, and we are incredibly lucky to have her leadership, dedication, and heart serving our school community.
Congratulations to everyone who helped make this year such a success — we are growing, thriving, and continuing to build strong partnerships that support our students and school! 💚🌸

The PTSA offered “Clear the List” funding for our teachers. GHC third grade teachers: Ms. Spector, Ms. Wong, Mr. Hedges, Ms. Mesia, and Mrs. Yates invited author Antonio Sacre. Sacre talked about his books and shared stories with the third grade students.

It warms our hearts to provide such a wonderful experience to our community and scholars.

THANK YOU!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many generous donors who contributed prizes and support to this year’s Read-A-Thon. Their generosity helped make this one of our most successful Read-A-Thon to date, and we are incredibly grateful for their partnership and support of our students and school community.

A special thank you as well to our amazing school staff for helping coordinate prize distribution and accommodating the additional logistics that come with a program of this size. Their continued partnership and support truly help make these programs possible, and we appreciate all they do for our students and families!
