🦃 Give a Little Gobble – Thanksgiving Community Give Back!

Join our Granada Hills Charter TK–8 community as we come together to spread a little kindness this Thanksgiving! Families, students, and staff are invited to help assemble Thanksgiving baskets for local families in need. It's a wonderful opportunity to volunteer together, give back, and make a difference this holiday season! 🧡

🍬 HAVE A SPOOKY MONSTER MASH DANCE TONIGHT! 🎃

We hope all of our middle schoolers are ready to trick, treat, and dance the night away at tonight’s Monster Mash Dance! 👻✨

Your GHC TK-8 PTSA is thrilled to partner with our school to help make tonight extra sweet by proudly sponsoring all the candy for the event! 🍫🍭

This is just one of the many ways your PTSA memberships, donations, and support directly power fun memory-making events for our students. Thank you for helping us support our school community!

Save a spot on your calendar for the GHC TK-8 Spirit Night at Dave & Buster’s! Bring your Power Cards (if you bought one) and enjoy a fun evening of arcade games, great food, and community fun.

And best of all, the next day is a holiday, so NO SCHOOL! So parents, kids can stay out, play games, and hang with their friends guilt-free.

🗓 When: Tuesday, November 10th | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Where: Dave & Buster’s – 9301 Tampa Ave.

20% of all food, non-alcoholic beverage, and game play sales will be donated straight back to our PTSA to support our students and programs!

SAVE THE DATE: GHC TK-8 Fall Festival 2026 sponsored by your GHC TK-8 PTSA

It's baaaaaack! Mark your calendars for a great time of games, music, food, and tons of fun for the whole family.

When: Saturday, November 14th, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Where: TK–8 Campus
Cost: FREE

An event like this takes a village. We're looking for:
(1) volunteers to help and
(2) candy and prize donations to keep the booths stocked.

In other news . . . we spotted some of our PTSA Board Members out in the wild!

On Oct. 15th, our 31st District PTSA family gathered for the annual Membership and Association Dinner. It was a blast connecting with old faces and meeting new ones. And some of the costumes were so creative!

We’re so thankful for all the volunteers in the 31st District PTSA who are dedicated to making their school communities stronger and better.

GHC TK–8 artists, time is ticking! You have less than 2 weeks to finish your entries for this year's Reflections program, themed "What My Culture Means to Me."

Whether you're choreographing a dance, writing a story, composing music, or capturing a photo, we want to see your unique voice shine!

📌 Quick Checklist Before You Submit:
🗓️ Deadline: Friday, Nov. 16 (turn in to your teacher)
📝 Student Entry Form: Completed and attached
💬 Artist Statement: 10–100 words explaining how your art connects to the theme
📋 Rules: Double-check your category's specific rules and requirements

Thanks to everyone who came out to dine during our October fundraiser at The Habit Burger Grill, together we raised $326 for our school!
