Loyola hosted the Futures Midwest League TheMidwestEliteLeague last Sunday, giving all teams another opportunity to compete in familiar waters. Each NTA team finished the day with a 1-1 record, gaining valuable game experience while continuing to build on the progress made during practices. Throughout the matches, both teams showed encouraging signs of development, with improved teamwork, communication, and ex*****on. There were several moments of beautiful water polo that reflected the hard work the players have been putting in, and their continued growth was evident on both ends of the pool.

Exciting weekend for our petite water polo Shark squad! It was a beautiful Chicago Sunday morning filled with plenty of goals, lots of playtime, and even more fun. Sixteen of our 12U Sharks made the trip to Windy City, bringing great energy and enthusiasm to every game. Between all the action in the pool and time spent together as a team, it was a fantastic day of water polo, smiles, and memories. Our Sharks had an absolute blast from start to finish!

All of our water polo teams have successfully kicked off their seasons, with every squad playing at least one game in their respective age-group TheMidwestEliteLeague over the last 2 weekends. Athletes have enjoyed an abundance of playing time and gained invaluable competitive experience.

This marks a truly special milestone for our program: on Sunday, September 20, we played our first-ever 12U league games as NTA right here at our home pool in Winnetka.

Congratulations to all the WP Sharks on the squad for a fantastic start!
