“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” 🍁
— Anne of Green Gables, L.M. Montgomery

And what a wonderful October it has been at The Neighborhood House! ❤️

From busy soccer fields and the return of our Community Café to our after-school kiddos pressing fresh apples into c***r, this month has been filled with all the things we love most about our little community.

We’ve enjoyed beautiful fall days, lots of laughter, time spent together, and the excitement of serving as a host site for the MDI Half Marathon!

October is always a busy month around here, but it’s also a wonderful reminder of what makes The Neighborhood House so special. It’s the people, the traditions, the volunteers, and all those little moments that bring our community together.

To everyone who has joined us, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines, shared a meal, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you. You are what makes this place feel like home, and we are so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another in so many wonderful ways. ❤️

Here’s a little peek at October at The Neighborhood House! 🍎⚽🍂

Rainy and dreary outside, but Youth Club was full of energy today! ☔🍕

We made pizza, moved our bodies, got creative, and shared plenty of laughs along the way. A pretty great way to spend a rainy afternoon!
