Join us for our 3rd Annual End of Summer Cookout! We’re teaming up with the Mt. Desert Police Association for a fun, FREE lunch for the whole community.

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, mateys! ☠️

What a swashbuckling morning! Our campers and community members had an absolute blast welcoming Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers for their hilarious performance of "Everybody Loves Pirates!" There were plenty of laughs, pirate adventures, and smiles all around.

🍽️ Campers in the Kitchen Week is off to a delicious start! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our Quest campers spent the morning in the kitchen with Chef Paulette, learning how to prepare a healthy and delicious lunch. It was a wonderful opportunity to build cooking skills, try new foods, and gain confidence in the kitchen!

Meanwhile, our Explorer and Discovery campers teamed up with their counselors to make their own English muffin pizzas. From choosing their favorite toppings to enjoying the finished product, there were smiles (and happy taste buds!) all around.

Cooking together is a fun way to encourage teamwork, creativity, and healthy habits—and we can't wait to see what the rest of Campers in the Kitchen Week has in store!

🚲🍦 26 Years of Summer Tradition! 🍦🚲

What a beautiful Thursday evening for our 26th Annual Neighborhood House Bike Parade & Ice Cream Social!

Children from throughout our community—along with our Neighborhood House campers and their families—came together for an evening filled with decorated bikes, smiling faces, laughter, ice cream, and fun. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces enjoying one of our favorite summer traditions.

A special thank you to our event sponsor, WMH Architects, for helping make this community tradition possible. Your support helps create lasting memories for children and families throughout our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Bike Parade & Ice Cream Social such a special event. For 26 years, this tradition has brought our community together, and we’re grateful to continue creating memories with all of you.
