Adopt a duck today in the first ever Blue Duck Derby! On Saturday Aug 1st, a thousand little rubber ducks will be released from our shop, the aptly named Historic Blue Duck, into the harbor in a race to the finish. The winning ducks receive great prizes! And everyone wins because it supports a great cause, great kids and an amazing community.

In today’s episode, the kids measured up all the pieces for their tables, and gained some fraction skills along the way. Reading a measuring tape takes a deep understanding of what fractions are, how they relate to each other and why it’s useful to know if real life!
