A big thank-you to the The Montessori School of Northampton students who delivered nearly 600 pounds of food to the Center!

Our Elementary students delivered 598 lbs (!!!) of food to the Northampton Survival Center.

One of our clients—an armed forces veteran on a fixed income—told us that getting free groceries from the Northampton Survival Center means he doesn't have to worry about having enough money to buy food each week. Reflecting on the impact the Center has made, he quipped, "I love the price!"

Our largest food drive of the year, the Post Office Food Drive, is coming up on Saturday, May 9!

You may see volunteers from the Center distributing orange bags to households in Northampton and Florence in the next week. These bags allow folks to leave groceries on their porch which postal carriers will pick up and bring to us that Saturday.

The veteran lives with his son and two grandchildren... Now Wielgus relies on the pantry at 265 Prospect St. He picks up sweets, juice, and milk—essentials that ensure his picky grandchildren have the foods they love.
