What a great night at the 23rd Annual NEF Adult Spelling Bee!

Our winners were the Bee Bee Kings (sponsored by The Dadz and Osaka Lunch Club), who nailed the spelling of "ecdysiast." Best costume winners were the Spelling Beasts (sponsored by Gwen Agna & Tom Marantz), and most humorous were the CruciBEEls (sponsored by ReVision Energy and Workroom Design Studio).

For the first year, we had peer-to-peer fundraising options. The team that brought in the most for NEF was the Write-ins (sponsored by the Committee to Elect Megan Wolf). Second place went to the Viking Hive Mind of Smith Voke (sponsored by DA Sullivan and Sons). Third place was a tie between the Be9s (sponsored by Marisa Labozzetta & Martin Wohl) and the NHS Student Union team (sponsored by Brian Leaf SAT Prep).

Thank you to everyone who sponsored the event, sponsored a team, competed on a team, dressed up in costume, got silly, or came to cheer.

The Holyoke Hummus Co. food truck will be selling food at the NEF Spelling Bee from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Snacks, drinks, and ice cream cups (donated by Herrell's Ice Cream) will also be available for purchase.

The Bee is Wednesday, October 22 at Bombyx in Florence. Doors open at 5. Competition starts at 6.
