The latest ALICE report is here! United Way of NC and United For ALICE are sharing the most up-to-date data and information about the 41% of North Carolinians who are below the ALICE Threshold. This refers to folks like Tatiana, who work but do not make enough to make ends meet and are one unexpected payment away from financial crisis.
ALICE is everywhere. If you yourself are ALICE or know someone who is ALICE, consider checking out the report and working with your local United Way to promote programs that help ALICE individuals and families get back on their feet and remain financially stable.

You see ALICE every day — but you might not know it.

Workers who are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) care for children, check out groceries, cook meals, and help with everyday banking needs. Even beyond the workplace, ALICE shows up for our communities across civic, social, cultural, religious, and recreational spaces. And yet, ALICE struggles to get by, with income above the Federal Poverty Level but less than the cost of basics in their counties.

ALICE is everywhere. Let’s make sure ALICE is seen. Explore our new Report, The in North Carolina, in partnership with : UnitedForALICE.org/NC
