✨Community Health Educator✨

The Community Health Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health education, prevention, and community outreach initiatives that support the mission of Wilkes Youth Life Development (WYLD). This position works directly with youth, families, schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness, build protective factors, and promote healthy decision-making related to substance misuse prevention, mental health, resilience, healthy relationships, and overall wellness.

The Community Health Educator serves as a visible representative of WYLD throughout Wilkes County by delivering educational programming, coordinating outreach activities, building partnerships, and connecting individuals to community resources.
