Weโ€™ve been keeping a little secretโ€ฆ and as of January 1, 2026, itโ€™s official.

๐ŸŒ„โœจ New Year. New Brand. New Name. Same Mission. โœจ๐ŸŒ„

As we step into 2026, weโ€™re excited to share an important update with our community.

Wilkes Recovery Revolution has expanded...
To better reflect the work we do serving individuals across multiple communities, we are now operating under our new legal name:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Recovery Revolution

This change allows us to grow beyond county lines while staying rooted in the local communities we serve. Youโ€™ll still see us showing up as Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. when doing Wilkes County specific work!

What hasnโ€™t changed?
๐Ÿ’š Our commitment to recovery
๐Ÿ’š Our peer-driven approach
๐Ÿ’š Our belief that recovery is possible for everyone

Our new logo represents both where weโ€™ve been and where weโ€™re going.

The โ€œRโ€ continues โ€” just like recovery does.
Recovery isnโ€™t a destination; itโ€™s a journey. It evolves, it deepens, and it keeps moving forward. This logo reflects that ongoing process โ€” for individuals, families, and communities.

Youโ€™ll notice the triangular shape at the base of the โ€œR.โ€
Thatโ€™s intentional.

It represents our mountain roots and the climb to the peak โ€” the hard work, resilience, and determination it takes to move through recovery. Just like climbing a mountain, recovery requires effort, support, and perseverance โ€” but the view from the top makes it worth it.

The bold, strong lines reflect stability, strength, and solidarity โ€” reminding us that no one climbs alone. Recovery happens in the community.

The layered form of the โ€œRโ€ symbolizes momentum and growth โ€” honoring where someone has been while pushing toward whatโ€™s possible next.

This name and logo change reflects who weโ€™ve already become โ€” a growing network of hope, healing, and support across North Carolina.

๐Ÿ‘‰ In the coming days, youโ€™ll begin to see updates across our website, email addresses, and marketing materials as we transition to reflect our new name and brand. Donโ€™t worry โ€” itโ€™s still us, just with a name that better reflects where weโ€™re headed.

Itโ€™s still us.
Same heart. Same mission.
Just a stronger name and symbol of the revolution weโ€™re building together.

Same mission. Bigger reach. Stronger together.

The news is out โ€” and weโ€™re proud to share it.
Wilkes Recovery Revolution will represent North Carolina in the newly funded ARISE Connect Appalachia initiative.
The Fletcher Group has been awarded $9.2 million to deliver job readiness training and job placement resources to 1,500 individuals in recovery across six Appalachian states. This effort will expand the proven Recovery-Ready Workplaces model and strengthen local recovery ecosystems across the region.
We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to advancing the mission of Recovery Friendly NC while supporting recovery, workforce development, and economic vitality throughout our communities.

What an incredible day! On Friday, we marked another milestone on our journey at Cameron Ridge Treatment Center with the State Road, NC, Ribbon Cutting & Campus Vision Showcase. A HUGE thank you to our event sponsors, guest speakers, local/state partners, and every person who joined us.

๐ŸŒŸ Celebrating Recovery-Friendly Leadership at Cherokee Indian Hospital Association! ๐ŸŒŸ

On Monday, August 25th, WRR had the honor of supporting a powerful milestone: Cherokee Indian Hospital Association (CIHA) was officially designated as a Recovery Friendly Workplace by RFNC!

This designation reflects CIHAโ€™s unwavering commitment to supporting individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disordersโ€”not just through clinical excellence, but by fostering a workplace culture rooted in compassion, inclusion, and healing.

The day was filled with collaboration and inspiration:

Kit Roberts, Director of WCI, Inc. RFW Programs and RFNC Advisor, joined Jeff Walker, WRR Programs Director, to co-facilitate the RFNC Designation Training.

After a wonderful lunch from CIHAโ€™s cafeteria, Alexis Triplett, Director of RFNC, led a deeply impactful session on Cultural Humility and its Applications in Recovery Friendly Workplaces.

CIHA continues to set the standard for integrated, culturally responsive careโ€”especially in the realms of mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services. Their work is a shining example of what healthcare can and should be: inclusive, recovery-oriented, and community-driven.

We are proud to stand alongside CIHA as they lead the way. Their dedication should serve as a model for the healthcare industry nationwide.
