It’s officially fair time! Please come join us for the Wilkes County Agricultural Fair at Rotary Park in North Wilkesboro. Fair hours are 5pm-11pm Wednesday - Friday and 3pm-11pm on Saturday. Check out www.WilkesFair.com for more information about admissions and ride wristbands.

We’re excited to introduce our two newest Rotarians: Dr. Greg Minton and Dr. Michael Rodgers!

Dr. Minton is a Wilkes County Commissioner and VP of Workforce Development and Community Education at Wilkes Community College.

Dr. Rodgers is the new president of Wilkes Community College, having moved to Wilkes from Owensboro, KY after a long and successful tenure at Owensboro Community and Technical College.

We appreciate Arnold Lakey for sponsoring these two new members of the Rotary family!

Rotary Club of North Wilkesboro welcomed Hospitality House Northwest NC to our meeting this week. A big Thank You to Todd Carter, Chief Development Officer for Hospitality House, for sharing about the organization's mission and work here in Wilkes County. We'd also like to thank Hospitality House Board Member Ben Henderson for joining us from Boone Sunrise Rotary. You're always welcome to join us for some BBQ and fellowship in the foothills!
