The Partnership Is proud to participate In celebrating Child Care Health Consultants! We are proud of our CCHC, Julie Johnson, and the support she gives to our childcare centers.
Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs) are trained health professionals with experience in child and community health and early care and education (ECE). In North Carolina, CCHCs work with early care and education programs to create safe and healthy environments for children, families, and early educators.
Celebrating 30 years of child care health consultation honors North Carolina’s long-standing commitment to promoting healthy and safe child care environments for children, families, and early educators. This milestone reflects three decades of sustained effort to strengthen child care quality through health and safety guidance, state and local partnerships, and community-based implementation.
More than 550 Child Care Health Consultants have been trained in North Carolina since 1996.
