Ebenezer was founded on a vision. In 1994 we saw a great need in our community. We saw hurting children that had to be removed from their homes due to neglect and abuse. We made it our mission to provide a loving and caring Christian environment to those children in need. We have strived to provide the most basic human needs, love and acceptance, to those who God has placed here. Ebenezer Christia

n Children’s Home serves as a loving and nurturing home to displaced children from Wilkes and surrounding counties. Our staff is dedicated to the care and well-being of each child resident here. We treat each child as an individual and provide as much love, compassion and attention to each individual child as humanly possible. We have been serving children ages three through twenty-one since 1994. In that time we have been blessed by the outreach of the community without whose support and partnership we could not continue to provide sanctuary to our children. We receive donations from individuals, businesses and churches throughout the year. We have been blessed to both nurture and minister to those children placed here and to be part of a loving, giving community which shares our passion to support children. With great excitement we look forward to the future and to the lives who we will be able to touch thanks to the community and to God’s will. At Ebenezer we are changing lives, each and every day and it is all thanks to God and to your support.

With March being social worker appreciation month, Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home would like to take a moment to celebrate our incredible social workers and office staff! We have such an AMAZING team that shows not only dedication, but their compassion and love for the children we serve! We can’t say “thank you” enough, for working endless hours, encouraging others, advocating for those in need, never giving up, and being an anchor in the storm! Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home was beyond blessed to be able to partner with Faithfest in hosting their first Faithfest Jubilee.

This night was such a success in joining together as a community, and worshipping the Lord for all that he has done.
