The Elizabeth Schilling Adjust Your Sails Foundation, INC wears gray during the month of May for our inspiration Elizabeth Schilling. Her bravery, strength, and resilience inspire us to create a world where the diagnosis of a brain tumor/brain cancer does not define the quality of life.

According to the National Brain Tumor Society, "more than any other cancer, brain tumors can have lasting and life-altering physical, cognitive, and psychological impacts on a patient’s life.
And, despite years of research, brain cancer survival rates have remained little-changed in recent years, even while survival rates for many other cancers have been significantly improved."

On this first day of May, we kick off Go Gray in May, an international month focused on brain tumor and brain cancer awareness.

The Elizabeth Schilling Adjust Your Sails Foundation, INC. envisions a world where a diagnosis with brain cancer does NOT define one's quality of life.

To those of you who financially or emotionally support our work, we thank you. Most recently, the 2026 Denim and Diamonds Soiree raised $25,000, taking us closer to finding better treatments and even a cure for brain cancer!
