🌧️🇺🇸 RAIN OR SHINE — OUR MISSION CONTINUES! 🇺🇸🌧️

What an incredible day of service, teamwork, and community impact at the Midwest Veterans Closet! Despite the rain, our volunteers showed up ready to serve—and our military community showed up in force.

Today, we proudly served over 35 Active Duty service members, 70 Veterans, and 148 active duty family members, with assistance reaching more than 370 family members.

A special and meaningful moment came when the Pastor from North Prairie United Methodist Church in Winthrop Harbor donated 200 goodie bags, each packed with 20 different items to help support our military and veteran families. Before the items were distributed, she blessed them that it may be a blessing to each family represented.

Also, a tremendous THANK YOU to the amazing volunteers and organizations who made today possible: CSAAD Naval Station Great Lakes, Midwest Veterans Closet Volunteers, Northern Illinois Food Bank, and North Prairie United Methodist Church – Winthrop Harbor.

From directing traffic and organizing food to loading vehicles and working through the rain, every helping hand made a difference today.

This is what community looks like. This is what service looks like. And this is what happens when organizations and volunteers come together with one purpose: taking care of those who serve, those who have served, and the families standing beside them. 🇺🇸❤️
Stronger Veterans. Stronger Families. Stronger Communities.

Again, we SALUTE our Armed Forces service members, past and present along with their familes members for their sacrifice in helping our nation and allies stay FREE!

🇺🇸❤️ **RAIN OR SHINE — HE ALWAYS SHOWS UP!** ❤️🇺🇸

A HUGE and heartfelt **THANK YOU to Steven from Veterans Together, Charity Forever Inc.** for once again stepping up to support our military community!

This incredible donation included **ONE FULL PALLET of beverages — totaling more than 500 pounds!** 🥤💪

But what makes this support so special goes far beyond the donations.

🌧️ **Rain or shine, he shows up.**
🇺🇸 He gives his **time.**
❤️ He gives from his **heart.**
🤝 And he continues to serve our **Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, and Military Families** whenever there is a need.

This is what true community service looks like. Supporting our military community isn't just something you say — **it's something you DO.**

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, dedication, and continued commitment to those who have served and those who continue to serve.

**500+ pounds of beverages. One tremendous act of generosity. Countless people impacted.** 🇺🇸❤️

**THANK YOU for always showing up!** 🙏👏
