People often ask why The Salvation Army offers so many different services and programs. The programs and services differ in order to meet the unique needs of the people in the communities we serve. We take a holistic approach to Doing the Most Good where there is the most need, without discrimination, whether it be disaster relief, emergency assistance, substance abuse rehabilitation, or educational programs for children. If you find yourself in need, whether that need be practical, recreational, spiritual or emotional, we hope you will seek our assistance. If you would like to get involved with The Salvation Army and volunteer or donate to our cause, we invite you to explore some options we have tailored for you. You can learn more about our programs/services and how to get involved on our website at www.salarmywaukegan.org. The Salvation Army International
When founders William and Catherine Booth began the work in London that would grow to become The Salvation Army, few would have predicted their legacy: an organization, part of the Christian Church, now working in over 131 countries and with a history spanning more than 150 years. Throughout this time there have been millions of members, and people have been helped right across the world – but this movement had humble beginnings. You can discover the global legacy of The Salvation Army at story.salvationarmy.org.

¡Qué hermoso domingo juntos en la creación de Dios!

Our church family gathered at Greenbelt for outdoor worship, nature bingo, and a leaf canvas activity! We continued our study of Acts 13–14, reflecting on sharing God’s love wherever He leads us. 🌿📖

Construction may have changed our meeting place, but we’re still growing in faith and enjoying being together! Thank you to everyone who joined us. 🧡
