A huge thank you to University of the Philippines Visayas alumna Lorie Andrea Del Rosario for organizing a successful fundraising lunch in the UK in support of One UPV Foundation USA scholars!

Lorie brought friends together over a wonderful lunch, turning a simple gathering into an opportunity to help deserving students pursue their education. 🎓

Ten years ago, One UPV Foundation USA was founded with a vision to create opportunities through education. Today, we celebrate not only an anniversary, but a decade of lives transformed, dreams realized, and futures forever changed.

Over the past ten years, the generosity of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, partners, and supporters has enabled deserving students to pursue higher education and unlock opportunities they once thought were beyond reach. Behind every scholarship is a story of resilience, determination, and hope. Behind every graduate is a family whose future has been forever changed.

As we mark this important milestone, we celebrate the accomplishments of our scholars who have become professionals, leaders, and changemakers in their own communities. Their success is a testament to what can happen when compassionate people come together to invest in education.

📚 395 scholarship grants awarded, totaling ₱10.105 million
🏅 62 scholars have graduated, including 7 Magna Cum Laudes and 50 Cum Laudes

"I am determined to focus on sharing my knowledge with young learners and contributing to the richness of my community’s heritage while embodying the values and lessons I gained from the university. I long to create a series of published works featuring my community and the nation. I want stories and voices to be heard, especially from the marginalized sector—those voices that people barely listen to. This is my way of sparking a shift in the community that even a girl from a small town can create a meaningful and significant contribution in society. By investing in me, One UPV does not only support a student in financial need but also the people I have yet to serve. This act of support will create ripples of effect and, united with the rest of the community, will create the environment we always dreamed of. After all, everything starts with bettering oneself and later joining the whole. My story is not just of resilience but how one can transform struggles into tools to fulfill my greater purpose—to serve the people."
