Check out Logan and Alex rippin' the slopes during their recent February break! The boys requested lift tickets for the holidays. We'd like to give a huge thanks to the Zee Family for always checking in on the boys and covering their holiday gift. We wish the boys tons of luck, tons of air and tons of health in their new hobby! 🖤💙🖤

We would like to thank Will Dodds & Jake Howarth of Bergen Catholic High School for their hard work with our organization. Will & Jake participated in our internship program this summer. These gentlemen conducted a sports equipment collection to benefit the Passaic Recreation Department.

Will & Jake's collection + donation was done in the name of Lt. Ralph Merced of the Passaic Police Department, who was lost to su***de. They had the opportunity to meet Lt. Merced's family, who we have the pleasure of having in our organization. All donations will go to children in need in the City of Passaic.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Merced Family, Passaic Police PBA President Juan Zuniga & Passaic Recreation Department Cindy Gomez for working with our organization.

Will Dodds & Jake Howarth were able to beat the storm Tuesday and conduct their first sports equipment collection. These gentlemen will be conducting another collection today from 4pm to 6pm at Bergen Catholic High School.

Will & Jake, rising Seniors at Bergen Catholic, are working with 10-13 Survivors this summer to serve their community and bring awareness to mental health and su***de prevention. All donations will assist local children in need. If you have any gently used or outgrown sports equipment, please consider donating to their drive.

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 • 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭

10-13 Survivors would like to thank Will Dodds & Jake Howarth for their hard work with our organization. These gentlemen have dedicated their summer to serving others. They are partnering with 10-13 through a summer internship to help raise mental health awareness and spread a su***de prevention message.

Will Dodds, is currently a rising Senior at Bergen Catholic High School. Will is from Cresskill, NJ, an excellent student, and a three sport athlete (Football, Baseball, and Ski Team) at BC. Will is planning on attending a high academic college as student athlete.

Jake Howorth, is currently a rising Senior at Bergen Catholic High School. Jake is from Ridgewood, NJ, an excellent student, and a member of the Bergen Catholic Baseball team. Jake is also planning on attending a high academic college as student athlete.

This coming week, Will & Jake will be collecting gently used and/or brand new sports equipment for those in need in our area. The redistribution of donated items will be done in the name of a NJ Law Enforcement Officer lost to su***de, once the logistics are determined.

Date: Tuesday August 6th + Thursday August 8th
Time: 4pm to 6pm (both days)
Location: Bergen Catholic High School Lot

Please consider donating sports equipment of any kind. 10-13 Survivors Inc is a 501c (3) charity and all donations are tax deductible.

Huge congratulations goes out to Kayla Vazquez! Kayla graduated from high school on Friday. Members of our organization along with members of the North Bergen Police Department were honored & grateful to be part of her special day.

Kayla is the daughter of Sgt. Alex Vazquez who was lost to su***de in 2017. She, along with the other children in our program, and the others we hope to reach are the reason for our mission. May they & their parents never be forgotten.

Our organization was proud to award Kayla with the first 10-13 Survivors Inc. Scholarship Award. The scholarship will become an annual award going forward, presented to a NJ high school senior who has made great strides in the world of mental health and/or su***de prevention.

We wish Kayla the best of luck in her next chapter at Lehigh University where she will be a member of the Lehigh women's wrestling team. Kayla will try to add more hardware to her NJ State Champion & USA Women's Wrestling pedigree.

Christmas Wish Come True. We would like to thank Chief Peter Fasilis, Lt. Alex Barrios, P.O. Saray Durango + the men and women of the North Bergen Police Department for their dedication to granting Logan Vazquez's very special Christmas wish.

Logan & Alex lost their father Sgt. Alex Vazquez of the North Bergen Police Department to su***de in 2017. Alex was a highly decorated twelve year veteran. He was also a champion wrestler at North Bergen High School in the early 2000s.

The boys recently had the opportunity to spend time at Police Headquarters and learn the inner workings of the department. It's safe to say it looks like they had fun & learned a lot!
