From the Way Back Machine...
In August we were fortunate to host the incredible Cody Wilson as our featured Art Walk artist. As usual, Cody blew minds with his vibrantly energetic exhibition 666-7Mountains.
Here are a slew of photos our own Diane Bergeron captured of the festivities.
Thank you Cody! And thank you to everyone who came out to support him!

For July's Art Walk, we featured the work of Resonator's own Laura Nelsen! Her exhibition "Facing Death" transfixed and delighted our guests with its emotional depth, impeccable craftsmanship, and remarkably well-considered installation.
Thank you to Laura and to the hundreds of Art Walkers who showed up to enjoy it. This was Laura's first solo exhibition and it could not have been a more rewarding experience for her and all of us!

Here are some pics from this month's Art Walk.
For the event, we were honored to host the first ever public exhibition by local artist Carlos Colin. Carlos is a self-taught painter who creates magical realist imagery for (and often featuring) his kids. The show was truly wonderful, with work hung at levels to benefit both adults and children.
Thank you Carlos for sharing your remarkable work, and thank you to everyone who showed up to enjoy it. It was yet another magical night here at Resonator.

If you missed Art Walk this month, here's a refresher!
We hosted an amazing print exhibition by Austin based artist Annalise Gratovich. It was just part of what was an exceptional Second Friday up and down the street.
Thank you Annalise, and thank you to the over 500 people who came out to see her exhibition. We wouldn't be here without you.
We'll be back at it in a couple weeks with another mind-blowing show. See you there!

Thank you to our friends at Qoncert Promotions and to Chromeheart Cam for treating us to a kick ass night of hip hop last Friday! They were introducing acts so fast, we didn't have a chance to get everyone's name. But Diane Bergeron managed to keep up with her camera, and here are the results.
Let's do it again soon!
