We are excited to present to you the 1st Annual C.A.R.E. Coalition Health and Wellness Summit. In an effort to combat pressing issues concerning youth and adult mental health and substance misuse, the Community Alliance of Resources for Everyone (C.A.R.E.) Coalition is set to host its first Health and Wellness Summit on Friday, April 26th. The event will take place at the McClain County Farm & Home Building, located at 1721 Hardcastle Blvd., Purcell, OK, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. This groundbreaking summit aims to provide education, resources, and support to address the critical challenges faced by young individuals in McClain County and surrounding communities. The summit is open to the public at no cost and offers the opportunity to earn free Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) credits, making it a must-attend event for professionals and community members alike. For those eager to join in person, seating is limited to 60 individuals. However, the summit will also be accessible virtually, ensuring that no one misses out on the wealth of information and support being offered. In- person attendees will receive a complimentary light breakfast and lunch.
