Tucker's Onion Burgers hits the spot on a Fall Saturday!

Next Saturday is a double-header with Breakfast at Jimmy's Round-Up Cafe at 8:30am and the OK!toberfest OKC All German Car Show. Cars will be parked inside the Modern Living Building during the 2pm-6pm show with trophy presentations at 5pm. Entry fee goes to benefit “Recovering Oklahomans After Disaster (ROAD)”. See you there!

War Bonnet road-tripped at the end of September with CimarronRegionPorscheClub and some members of Rocky Mountain Porsche Club for 3 spectacular days of driving through Colorado during some of the peak Fall Foliage sighting. There were 15 cars and 30 people having an incredible journey together. Here’s some pics from the drive up to Silverthorne and then Day 1. We saw Isak Heartstone in Breckenridge, stopped at the Continental Divide, pretended we were South Park characters, had lunch in Buena Vista and toured the National Mining Museum. In case this wasn’t enough, we also collected playing cards at each stop for a “Poker Run” Gimmick Rally and the Rocky Mountain group brought lots of Adams Detailing products to give away. Congratulations to Holly and Dave from Rocky Mountain for winning the Poker Rally with a Full House and Cory from WB for finishing second with a Straight.

War Bonnet members…You’ve got mail coming! Be on the lookout for your Name Tags, Bylaw Ballot, 60th Anniversary/Christmas Party Invitation and some 60th Anniversary decals.

Name tags are ready to wear on a lanyard or we’ll put a magnetic backer on it at an upcoming event. Please start wearing your name tags to events and post your pics with the name tags in the comments!

Porsche OKC’s Motors in the Morning was another exciting one! This month featured the Sooner Racing Team and culminated with an epic Rev Battle between their car and a GT3RS. Which one do you think sounds better?

Afterwards, some War Bonnet members headed over to OOZIE Mediterranean Restaurant for some lunch. Don’t let the small turnout fool you, OOZIE Mediterranean Restaurant was a great place for lunch. Delicious food and wonderful people to share it with. Everyone that headed home to watch football missed out. 😎

New (and ALL) Member Drive and Social - We had about 20 people come out for the short drive from Pop’s to the 66 Bowl in Chandler. It was great to talk to some newer members of War Bonnet. There were Strikes, Spares, and a few pins left standing but everyone was laughing and cheering for each other.

Super turnout for breakfast this morning Cattlemen's Steakhouse in the heart of the Stockyards City Main Street . Great people and breakfast. It was good to see some long-time War Bonnet members again!
